Mike's POV
I stared into her eyes, trying to figure out what she wanted to do. Okay, I was kind of expecting her to apologize. What she said out there really pissed me off and above all, I hated the way she ignored me.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
She looked at me and frowned. "Huh...I...huh...wait, when did you start to care about my words. We are obviously enemies, so why?"
I tried my best not to glare at her. Until when would she open her eyes to see? The last thing I wanted to be to her was an enemy.
"Is that what you are here to say?"
"Okay, sorry, okay? Remember, I said it already", she said it hastily and crossed her arms across her chest. I smiled at bit and nodded. "I'm not sure I can forgive you yet, elf."
She shot me a glance that made my insides warm. "What? You have said and done worse things and I didn't even bat an eyelid, but you? How dare you?" she yelled.
I love when she's angry with me. It kind of gives me her attention. I'm probably silly.
"Izzy, calm down."
She ran her fingers through her beautiful hair and glared harder at me. "What?"
"I love your hair." Maybe it was time I started giving her hints. Note, it's really bad when you like someone and the person doesn't like you back. I mean, it's frustrating.
Her hands dropped from her chest and her cheeks turned red, a deep red at that. Written all over her face was shock. I straightened and held her gaze. She remained quiet for a long time, causing me to smile. She was like this because I only said that. What would happen if I told her I liked her?
She would probably faint. Probably...
"Elf?" I said, waving my hand in front of her face. "Are you okay?"
She blinked once, then twice, then thrice. I had to bite my lower lip to prevent myself from smiling wider. She really looked cute with the way she blinked her eyes.
"Huh...well, huh... I came to apo...po...lo...gize."
I nodded. "Okay."
She raised an eyebrow and sighed. "Am I forgiven?"
"I'm sure you don't care about that anyway. So, why do you ask?"
Then, suddenly, as if her previous anger returned, she glared hard at me. "Why can't you just forgive, uh? Well, it wasn't as if I came here on my own will. Sharon forced me here, goat head."
"Goat-head?" I said, chuckling.
"Yes and I don't care, okay? Keep your response to yourself. Ferment with it, okay? You can however be sure that I won't apologize ever again to you!"
Time to release another thing. She had to see. "I love it when you blush, Izzy."
She froze, her hand mid air and her mouth slightly open. If she still wasn't getting, then...
I smiled at her. "Elf, I need to be in bed. See you another time and yes, we have to meet for practice."
She just stared. Wierd. Where did my Gold go? I preferred the shouting one.
"Goodnight, Gold."She gasped, her hand falling down beside her. I nodded as if to say 'so, you know now?'
I closed the door behind me and sighed. This was just so complicated.
