I woke up the moment I heard my phone ring. I stretched sleepily and put off the alarm. I had a lot of things to get done. First, I had a written interview to fill, I also had to get my profile updated on the band's homepage.
I also had a meeting with Thomas later in the day. Not so much work, right?
I jumped out of my bed, walked to the bathroom and had a quick bath. Just as I finished bathing, I heard a knock on my door. I frowned. Who knocked on a person's door at such an ungodly hour?
It was just six in the morning. Maybe not too ungodly.
I wrapped a large towel round my body, walked to the door and I pulled the door open. I gasped when I saw Mike smiling at me.
"Hey, Izzy."
I tightened my grip on the towel and closed the door a little so that only little of my body showed. "What?"
"We are supposed to go jogging. I'm actually glad you thought of it and decided to have a bath."
"Sorry?"
"You heard me. Now, get something on other wise, I'll come in and--"
"Hey, keep dreaming. I have things I need to get done. Jogging is definitely not one of them. So, please, leave me alone."
He put his hands on his hips. "You're joking, elf. You can't tell me that after you threatened me yesterday."
"I did?" So many things had happened the previous day, so I wasn't even sure I threatened anyone.
"Yes. I left my girl for you. Remember, elf. Get your brains working. I'll give you a minute. Get dressed. If you prove stubborn, I'll come in there and drag you out."
"Look, I know my rights. Freedom of movement is among them. You can't force me, okay?"
"Judging by my watch, you have just forty five seconds more. Oh now it's forty two."
I tried to close my door, but he stuck his foot in. "Don't play smart with me, elf. Get dressed. You won't like me to pull you out with a towel wrapped around your body."
I sighed and glared at him.
"Twenty one more seconds."
I ran to my wardrobe, grabbed my tank top with my knee length jeans and put it on hurriedly. Just as I put on my tennis shoes, he came in.
"Get out!" I yelled.
"Well, your time is over now." Then, to my surprise, he bent down and wore my shoes for me. He tied the laces and then stood up. "Your hair is wet."
"Of course, silly. You knocked when I was still having my bath."
"Well, I love the way water is dripping down."
I scoffed. "I'm drying it before--"
He shocked me again and carried me in bridal style out of the room. I blinked hard for several seconds. When I realized what was happening, I began to beat his chest. "Drop me now or I'll shout."
"Then, I'll just kiss you to shut you up."
I shivered. "You said I'm not your type, dude. I'm going to shout now."
"I think that changed. Dare me and you'll know why I have a lip disease."
"What?"
He chuckled. "You said it yourself, elf. I have a disease that makes girls salivate when--"
"Oh, that."
"Yep. Now dare me."
"I'm really going to shout."
