Bruised

So if you're wondering... a couple months passed without them seeing each other and this is a new week. (should I start putting dates on top?? I think that would be easier)

Jimin had woke up with the side of Yoongi's face on top of his head. Everything was so warm. The most warmth he's ever had and enjoyed more of it, holding onto Yoongi stronger. The cover layered on top of both of them and Jimin loved it. He wanted to stay like this for the rest of the day, but he already knows there's plenty of things to keep him away from doing that.

Without waking the older, Jimin sat up and adored the face of Yoongi's. He monitored his face for some time and liking everything about it. But every now and then Jimin heard footsteps outside of the door, not knowing who they belong to, but always thinking it's that mean nurse of his. Jimin tried not to wake up the sleeping Yoongi for protection, but Jimin is sensitive like his old nurse examined of him and shook Yoongi awake.

Yoongi's eyes fluttered open and a smile was formed in almost an instant just seeing Jimin's face first thing.

"You're still here?" he didn't mean it to be as if he wanted Jimin gone and more as himself being surprised that somebody is with him when he awakes.

"What, you don't want me here?" but Jimin took it that way anyway. You can't blame him though, he's been left behind so many times that he remembers which type of words come for his time to leave.

"Of course I want you here." he says while pulling Jimin closer and rubbing his hair down. Some strands stood up perfectly from his long trance a little while ago.

After fixing Jimin's hair up and hugging him until feeling better, Yoongi read his face and it read 'fear' all over it. Jimin wasn't being as talkative as he's used to him being and he's just staring blankly at the grey walls.

"Is everything alright, Jimin?"

He shook his head. "No, I'm scared."

"Why?"

"There's so many footsteps outside and I think one of them will belong to those mean people with guns again, but with my mean nurse too."

Yoongi's mouth agaped and he thought how this situation was exactly like the one last time. Of course he didn't want it happening again.

"If you don't want that then you should leave now and everything will be alright, okay?"

"No. Everything will not be alright."

"Why not?"

"I wasn't supposed to sneak out last night or ever and my new nurse made that clear which is the reason why it took forever to visit you. And when I go back he's gonna get very angry that I left in the first place." Jimin finally locked eyes with Yoongi. "So, everything will not be alright. I don't know what to do because both ways I will get hurt, but I don't want you to get hurt either."

"Hurt?" that word stuck with him. "Why would you get hurt?"

"He- um..."

Yoongi watched as Jimin trailed off his words and shut his mouth. Jimin looked around the room as if he went into la-la land and ignored the question purposely. He waited some more for an explanation why he would get hurt, but Jimin trailed completely off and brought up another subject.

"I like how the walls get lighter and some darker whe-"

"Hey," Yoongi pulled Jimin's jaw to face him, bringing him back to the main subject. "what does he do?"

Jimin crossed his legs nervously and put hands in lap as he hummed, pretty scared because he was told not to tell. "He... hits me." his lips pressed into a thin line.

Yoongi sighed, his face obviously showing he's furious. But Jimin butted in and said, "Sometimes." as if that makes it any better.

"Sometimes still means he hits you and hitting you at all is not okay."

"But when you think about it, it's okay because I deserve it. He says he hits me because it helps remind me not do certain things and it does. I stopped talking back."

"No, Jimin you don't deserve it. Did your old nurse hit you?" he shook his head. Yoongi stroked Jimin's cheeks a couple times before placing a kiss there, reassuring that he'll be okay. Then pulling him into a full hug. "I'll try to get him replaced, okay?"

Jimin nodded and caught himself grinning because of the protection he's getting. All the fear that's constantly on him is actually gone. He feels safe.

But then fear came back as he flinched when that familiar bang sounded against the cemented walls. Then Yoongi came through, holding onto Jimin tighter with a kiss on the head, whispering, 'calm down' and Jimin followed his words, relaxing his stiff body.

Both of their nurses came in, Yoongi already eyeing Jimin's nurse for what he's doing.

"Yoongi, what are you doing?" his nurse asked.

"There's something happening to Jimin."

"Like what?"

He pointed with his eyes to the tall male before speaking. His nurse glancing at him then back confused. "He's hitting him and Jimin wants another- no, a better nurse."

"You don't know what has to happen with Jimin. Maybe it's something he has to go through for his mental ill-"

"Don't give me that bullshit." he could feel himself getting heated. What needs to happen is for that dumbass called a nurse needs to get suspended from his job. If he can't have patience for people like Jimin and can't handle his anger issues then he shouldn't be working here.

Jimin had his eyes closed to avoid himself from the alarming situation, but immediately opened when he felt the hand he trusted pet his hair. Yoongi whispered for the others not to hear. "Do you have any bruises?" he nodded weakly. Himself remembering the pain it brought when he hits the same spot. "Where?"

Jimin let go of the older male's body to rack up his sleeve. Once the sleeve ended at the roof of his shoulders a red mark was exposed, looking brand new. "See," Yoongi said, surprised about the wound himself. "remove him." he referred to the abusive nurse. "If this seems normal to you then you need your eyes checked."

Jimin still being innocent Jimin felt bad as the guards escorted him out the room and felt if he betrayed him for snitching because he agreed not to, but lied, ending up telling Yoongi. But he was still thankful that he was dealt with, Yoongi's nurse leading him off somewhere.

Okaaaay every book needs drama and that was a little drama ig. But now it's time for serious business where big changes happen, so yeh!
