The light switch flickered on and off in my bed room.
It reminded me of our relationship.
How your I love you's turns into I don't want you anymore
then after a few days you'll come back with your apologetic face.
It became a cycle and I love you too much to get tired of it.
I hold on to your words every time you go back
and like every flickering light, at some point, it has to stop.
You never came back.
