Seraphina's POV:

"Diagon Ally!" There was a puff of smoke and Katherine disappeared.
"Right Seraphina, it's your go." I took a handful of floo powder from the bowl my mother was holding and stepped into the fireplace. "Now remember, nice and clearly."

"As you keep telling me." I dropped the floo powder and shouted Diagon Ally. In seconds I was standing beside my sister. It only took another minute before everyone had arrived. We stepped out of the shop we had been transported to and started to walk down the street. I looked at some newspapers, still no mention of the attack that had happened earlier on in the year, for some reason the ministry was covering it up and had presumably had all parents promise to not tell anyone. I was still going back to Hogwarts, all damage caused to the castle had been repaired and everybody was now on high alert after what happened before. A certain nine year old girl rushed past me, running towards the famous joke shop, originally owned by Fred and George Weasley. "Issela Potter! Get back here right now!" I giggled a bit while my mum went running after her.

Slowly, I started to realise that people were staring behind me, I turned to look at my dad. He was a chaser, and a pretty good one at that, for the English quiditch team. I'd kinda gotten used to all the staring, I mean, my father is a famous quidditch player and I have the last name Potter. As I walked ahead, to the bookshop, people passed me to go get autographs. There was a soft ding as I pushed the door open. I looked around me and scanned the shelves for the books I needed. I picked up: Magical Drafts and Potions, The Standard Book of Spells (Grade 2) and One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. I already had a History of Magic and a Beginners guide to Transfiguration.

After paying, I walked out and was almost immediately herded by my father into the broomstick shop. There was a crowd outside the window displaying the Dragione 1000, the best new broom, as well as a crowd inside. "What broom do you want?" I was a little startled by the question. I know I really should have been expecting my dad to want to get me a broom, now that I'm allowed them at Hogwarts, but I had been hoping he would have, somehow, impossibly forgotten. "I don't really want one.."

"What are you talking about? Of course you want one! Tell you what, I'll even give you the Dragione 1000 if you really want it."

Katherine gasped. "Can I have one?"

"Sure, go and pay for it." He dropped a load of Galleons in her hand. "Come on Sera! Any broom you want!" I didn't move. "Oh, don't do that! You love playing quidditch! And you're a great seeker! You can try out for the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and play for them!"

"But I don't want a broom, dad! I don't like Quidditch as much as you think I do."

My dad and I stood staring at each other.

"She'll have the Dragione 1000."

I let out a small shriek, Mia had creeped up behind me. "But I don't-"

"Please? I'll be able to borrow it off you!" She said, whispering it in my ear.

"Fine. Dad, can I have it?"

His face beamed as he gave me the money. I followed Mia as she grabbed and bought the broom.

-

"I just don't get why you don't like quidditch! It's literally the best game ever!"

Mia and I were in the Leaky Cauldron, drinking Exploding Lemonade. "It's not a bad game, I just don't enjoy it that much."

Mia sighed. "You're crazy."

"Yeah I am!" I said as I punched my fist into the air.

"Hi, are you Seraphina Potter?" We stopped laughing and looked at the boy stand next to us. He was about our age, probably a year above us. He had dark blond hair and a tanned-ish skin.
