Mia's POV:

"-And Jason has the quaffle! He passes it to Farco! Farco's almost in range of the Slytherin hoops! -Oh, But Mensa hits a bludger towards him! -Sheila hits it back! And Farco scores! 120 : 100 to Gryffindor!"

I rested my chin on my hand, for once not excited about Quidditch. I wasn't the only one either, although it was an exciting round, a member from each team was missing - which everyone was reminded of whenever one of the substitutes names were called.

The seat next to me creaked of old age as someone sat down. "Hey Mia."

"Hi Amaro." I glanced up at the second year Ravenclaw. "You 'Kay?"

He gestured towards the Gryffindor team. "One of my friends is the missing beater."

"Oh, I'm sorry." I scratched my head, trying to remember. "His name was Brandion, right?"

"Yeah..." Amaro looked sad for a second, before coughing and clearing his throat. "You enjoying the match?"

"Not much, usually I would be, but at the moment all Quidditch reminds me of is-"

"Seraphina? That Hufflepuff girl? You're friends with her right?" He asked, cutting me off.

"Urm, Yeah I am. How did you know I was talking about her?"

"Well, everyone's heard, really. - About how she's reacting." Amaro rubbed the back of his head.

"Oh."

"Yeah, well, everyone kind of knew her before this anyway, 'cause of her dad and all." I nodded in reply and we sat there for another couple minutes in silence.

"-Veronica has the quaffle! She passes to Anguis! Who passes to Knotch! -But Remus interrupts the pass! He's flying back to the Slytherin Hoops! -And he's scored!" Gryffindor stood up, a roar of approval flooding through them.

"He's quite good, isn't he? -That Remus kid."

"He's a third year, friends with Sera." Amaro raised an eyebrow.

"Not with you?"

"Nope." I said, popping the P. "I don't like him at all. - I tried to be friends with him at first, but he kept interrupting me whenever I talked and directed his conversation towards Sera only. -Don't think she noticed though. - I got the hint after him doing that for a month." I explained.

Amaro scrunched up his nose. "He doesn't seem very nice."

"He is, But only to the people he wants to be friends with." I rolled my eyes.

"So the popular people?" Amaro joked.

I laughed. "Yeah, pretty much." I stood up and pulled my robes tighter around me, protecting myself from the wind. "I'm bored, tell me the results back at the common room?"

"Sure. Bye."

"Bye." I walked out of the stands and made my way back to the castle, and to the library. I searched the whole of it, until finding a table tucked away in a corner. Bent down over a rather large book, was a familiar golden haired, even more pale than usual, Hufflepuff. Unlike yesterday, her hair had been brushed completely straight, her skin was completely clean, and her robes had obviously been reacently washed and ironed, not a single part of her was out of place.

I slowly pulled out a chair, feeling her stiffen next to me, and sat down. I revealed a book from my bag and placed it in front of me. I flicked through the pages of it until I found the chapter we had done yesterday in astronomy. 'Moon Signs'. I slowly slid the book towards her. "This is what you missed in astronomy yesterday, when you were taken out of the class." I looked up at her.

She didn't move, not an inch. In fact, she was still in the same position that she had been in when I had sat down.

Was she really that uncomfortable around me now?

"Did you get detention then? From McGonagall?" Still no answer.

Please talk to me.

I looked down at my lap, waiting a couple seconds before starting to slide the book back over to me. A warm hand stopped me. I lifted my head again, Sera was looking at me now.

"Every day for the rest of the week, and a three more weeks after we come back from the Christmas holidays."

I gasped. "Seriously?"

A faint, wobbly smile appeared on her face. "Yeah, she would have banned me from Quidditch but..." She trailed off.

"But you haven't been playing for the last couple weeks." I finished for her.

She nodded and looked down at the astronomy book in shame. "I-I'm sorry by the way."

"For what?" I asked, even though I knew what she was talking about.

She pushed a stray hair out of her face and twisted around to face me properly. "For how I've been acting, I've been so worried that I started ignoring you, -and everyone else for that matter." The smile faded. "I shouldn't have done that." Her face grew sad. "I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have done that. I should have-"

I wrapped her in a hug and squeezed her hard. "Hey, it's okay. I'm okay. It's fine. Everything is fine."
