"Aaron Burr!"
"Sir!" My friend, Aaron, responded to my call. He was in the parking lot of Freddy's, waiting for me and Liza. We headed inside where Hercules, Angelica and Peggy were waiting.
"Alexander!" Angie said delighted and hugged me. It wasn't hard to tell she liked me, although I wasn't interested. I peeled Angie off of me and headed towards the booth where Peggy and Herc were sitting.
"Sup Alex!" Peggy said coolly.
"Nothing much, Peg Leg."
Her face turned red when I said 'Peg Leg'. She hated being called that.
"I'm surprised Liza got you out of the dorm!" Herc said smirking.
"She was gonna carry me if I didn't."
The whole table erupted in laughter. The waitress came and took our order: a large cheese pizza.
We talked for a while about teachers we liked and hated, and joked around. When the pizza came we ate in silence.
"Can't wait till graduation, am I right?" Herc said, breaking the quiet.
"I'm willing to wait for it... what about you Angie?" Aaron asked and winked at her.
"I look forward to graduation, but not to Aaron flirting with me 24/7." Angie replies, and Aaron made a sad puppy face and the table laughed again.
"I'm looking forward to getting a career!" Eliza said in her usual cheeriness.
"I'm looking forward to getting out of school." Peggy mumbled and we all laughed.
"Same as Peggy, for me." I say.
I don't know what I'd do without my friends. They were my only family. I wouldn't be able to live if I lost them.
