was supposed to update yesterday! sorry :( better late then never. :P

I heard a knock on my door causing me to shoot up from my sleep. I glanced at the clock. It was 11:30AM. Whoops.

I swung my legs off the bed. My head was pounding. Stupid hangover. Too bad it wasn't bad enough so I wouldn't remember everything that happened last night.

I remember the fight and the kiss almost perfectly. Another knock.

"I'm coming!" I yelled.

I unlocked the door and opened it to see Oliver looking like his rebel self.

"What's up?" I asked trying to sound cool.

"Don't you look lovely?"

I could feel my hair all over the place and I still had my clothes on from last night.

"Sorry I didn't get all dolled up to answer the door."

He lightly chuckled. "Anyways, I told Cordelia what happened last night. The fight and whatnot. I left out the kiss,"he put his head down. "She would Skype but she's too busy packing to come back."

"Why would you tell her? I was planning on letting her know everything tomorrow," my voice was still calm.

"I'm sorry."

"I know. Can you do me a favor and just lay off today? Please?"

"You know I can't do that."

"I was planning on hanging out with Jay today anyways." Random lie I just made up right now.

"Well then I guess I won't have to be on watch," he winked.

Even though I wanted to crack a smile I didn't. "What did you read?" I asked. "In my journal."

He tensed up. "A small part about Alek."

"There's a lot."

"After he died. The numbness you felt. Your mom made things worst. Even if you hadn't had caught me I would've told you I read it. I can't imagine going through what you did."

"I don't want your pity Oliver. I've had enough over the past year."

"Sorry I just-"

"I'm getting really annoyed of you saying sorry all the time too. It's not your fault. It's mine. I've been rough on you. I apologize for that. I'm a screw up and a horrible friend."

He sighed deeply. "Can you not do that?"

"Do what?"

"Be so fucking negative, that's what."

I didn't like the tone in his voice. It actually scared me.

"You can go now," I closed the door in his face.

After an hour of mourning I decided to call Jay.

"Hello?" he answered.

"Hi Jay. How's your dad?"

"Good as new. But the real question is how are you?"

"I'm okay." Lie.

"I heard what happened at the party."

I rolled my eyes. "Did Oliver tell you?"

"No. Social media."

"I hope you're not mad at me."

"Me and Paige are over so why would I be? I hope you didn't fight her for me though."
