This was it.

I hugged Jay and Cordelia for the last time in awhile. We waved at each other before I ran into the airport with Ana and Jenna.

It was a quicker process compared to when I came up here a few months ago.

Me and the girls were now seated in our comfy chairs. Did I mention we were in first class? Well anyways, it was heaven.

I had my headphones on at the moment, letting Muse fill my eardrums. Matthew Bellamy's voice is so soothing and amazing!

The girls let me have the window seat which was a bonus! The view was breathtaking, literally. It sucked when I was leaving California cause instead of having people I actually knew sitting next to me, I ended up having a depressed mother with a whining baby.

Ana nudged me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I took off my headphones.

"Sup?" I asked.

"We're landing in 20 minutes. Didn't think you heard it with your headphones on," she laughed.

"Thanks for letting me know cause I didn't hear it all," I shrugged.

My dad always used to tell me, 'If you can hear anything with your headphones on then it's not loud enough.'

We hurried out of the airport waiting for Ana's cousin, Samantha. Ana warned us to call her Sam unless we wanted to make her pissed off.

"She should be here in a few," Ana assured.

"Is it bad that I already don't wanna go home?" Jenna smiled taking in her surroundings.

"Wait till you see the bridge!" I exclaimed.

Suddenly, we heard a honk and Ana gave us our cue to run over.

The trunk popped open and somehow we squeezed all of our luggage inside. We all hopped in the car and Sam turned in her seat to greet me and Jenna.

"Hey guys! I'm Sam, Ana's cousin," she held out her hand for me and Jenna to shake.

"Nice to finally meet you!" I smiled shaking her hand.

"Back at you! So I was thinking we can dump all your stuff at my place then we can head out to Pier 39. Sound good?"

We all nodded our heads excited for the day ahead of us. I was finally home.

The guest room has a king size bed for me and Jenna to share. We didn't mind though, it was roomy. Plus it had a balcony with a view of the city.

Ana walked in while we were freshening up to go to the pier.

"Are you guys ready?" she asked.

Me and Jenna looked at ourselves in the mirror once more before nodding our heads.

Jetlag was catching up to me as we started to walk around the pier. There were always a ton of people wandering but today it seemed like thousands.

"You guys want some shrimp or something?" Sam asked.

I've been on a plane for hours! I could eat a whale if I really wanted to.

I nodded my head and the other girls agreed. We got in line and waited. Suddenly, my phone began to go off.

I checked who it was, Jay! Holy shit I forgot to call him as soon as I landed.

"Hello?" I answered.

"I thought you were gonna call."

"I was, I just got caught up with a bunch of other things. Sorry."
