So me and Jay are a thing now? It's been a week since it happened. We decided it was better not to tell anyone yet.
I wasn't sure if this is what I wanted. Neither was he, well that's what he told me. So we're pretty much dating undercover.
Sometimes he made it hard at school. He'd tease me and piss me off on purpose in front of everyone cause he thought it was funny. I did my fair share of it too though.
Nobody suspected a thing, not even Oliver. He's becoming more distant actually, it sucks. That Amy chick is starting to become my problem too, and I hadn't even met the girl!
I was at Underground Sound now putting new discs on display. When no one was around I practiced a little with my gift. Putting them in their places without touching them once.
I was proud of myself, Cordelia was also. Always calling to check up and see what was up. Apparently, her and Jeff had worked things out. No adoption. But they do plan on getting a dog.
All of a sudden, I felt arms wrap around my waist from behind. I turned quickly, Jay. Holy shit, nearly gave me a heart attack.
"What are you doing here?" I asked still scared.
He chuckled, "Just wanted to say hi," he pecked me on the lips.
"If Harry or Nathan sees us, you're dead," I pointed a finger in his face.
"Don't worry, I'd be able to hear them coming from a mile away," he smirked.
"I don't care. I'm at work, therefore, I'm off limits."
I began to fix the discs again. Then I heard Nathan's voice greeting Jay.
Good, he was being kept busy.
"Excuse me miss?" I turned to a familiar face. Where was he from?
"Hi! How may I help you?"
"Do you guys sell posters here?" he asked.
"Follow me," I walked passed Nathan and Jay going upstairs, the guy following.
"Here we are!" I gestured to the posters.
"Cool," he smiled. "Thanks and do you remember me?"
"I thought you looked familiar."
He laughed, "I'm the bartender at 'The Spot.' Names Luke," he held out a hand.
"Oh yea!" I shook it. "Nice to meet you. I'm Hayley."
"Well thanks again Hayley. And next time you're there don't be a stranger. I can hook you up with a few drinks. Even take you backstage."
Backstage. I was liking this dude already.
Just then I felt a presence behind me. I knew it was Jay.
"Hope you find what you need Luke!" I walked away pulling Jay with me.
When we got downstairs I crossed my arms.
"What?" he questioned.
"Why were you eavesdropping?"
"Cmon Hayley! You can hear his cockiness from down here."
I giggled. "You're so cute when you're jealous."
"Not jealous," he denied.
"Whatever," I checked my clock. "My shift is over. Let's go!"

It was Friday now. The guys had another game against Cordell today so I was excited for that!
