"What do you want?" I crossed my arms.
"To talk."
"About?"
"You know what," he couldn't look at me.
"Sorry but I don't think I have the time right now," I walked passed him towards the staircase.
"Stop avoiding me."
I opened the door to the staircase. "Give me a good reason not to."
"Can you please just listen?"
"I'm listening," I began to walk ahead of him down the steps.
"Actually stop walking and look at me."
"Then I'll be late."
We reached the garage. I felt his arm on my shoulder and I stopped, facing him.
"What do you want from me?!" I yelled.
"I want your forgiveness, that's what! I was stupid. Okay?! I admit it."
"That's your excuse?"
"No. I just, I needed to feel something again."
"But it was Paige! Paige. Jay's ex. One of my worst enemies."
"I know," he bit his lip.
"Well if you're waiting on me to forgive you, forget it. You've really pushed it this time," I began to walk away and he grabbed my arm turning me.
It hurt. A lot. Before I was aware of what I was doing, I slapped him. I was just as stunned as he was.
"Don't touch me," I warned. "I'm going to school now."
He stood there speechless. Didn't stop me either. Good.

I got to school safely. Not to mention late. I walked into first period. Mr.Carini immediately asked for a pass.
"Don't have one," I replied.
He rolled his eyes and I took my seat next to Jay.
"We need to talk at lunch," was the only thing Jay said to me all period. Wasn't sure if I was in trouble or not. Everything was just getting confusing again.

Lunch time. Me and Ana found where the guys were soon enough. Wasn't that hard actually, Tom was on top of the table being a fool.
The whole school seemed to be eating in here today. All they were serving was the usual cardboard pizza. Nothing special.
"Hayley!" Tom greeted me with a hug. He was always happy. Never once seen a frown on his face.
"How are you on this fine day?" he asked ruffling my hair.
"Fine," I fixed it.
"I would ask you too but you seem swell!"
"You're very correct," he smiled.
"Do any of you guys have Mr.Brown?" Max asked.
"Why so you could cheat off homework?" Seev asked bluntly.
"You say it like I'm going to commit a murder."
"Sorry Max. I don't have him," I shrugged.
"Hayles, can I talk to you in private?" Jay asked. He had a serious look on his face. Wonderful.
I stood up, following Jay out of the cafeteria. Before I could walk out of the exit, a figure stood in front of me. I looked up to Paige.
"Hi Sykes whore," she grinned and I noticed kids beginning to surround us.
