Saturday.

My first official sight seeing today. I would've invited Oliver but he had 'shit' to do. I knew that meant something having to do with Amy. He never really told me what he wanted me to do yet. But according to him he had a plan.

I just hoped and prayed he wasn't doing something foolish.

'Oh Calamity' by All Time Low was currently playing throughout the house. One of my favorites.

I quietly sang as I straightened my short red hair in the bathroom.

"We get older by the hour

Watch the changes from afar

Keep forgetting to remember

Where we've been is who we are

Now all I do is wonder

Why we ever set the scene

Oh, calamity

It's such a shame that we play strangers

No act to change what we've become

Damn, it's such a shame that we've built a wreck out of me

Oh, calamity..."

"Lovely voice you have there!"

I winced in pain for burning my finger. "Shit!"

Jay stood at the doorway with a smile on his face. He looked really good today. Not like he ever doesn't but it seems like he spent a little extra time on himself today.

"Dude you're not supposed to be here for another hour!" I went back to straightening my hair.

"Well I'm early, aren't I? By the way you should really lock your door."

"Yea. I should."

He stood there watching me for the longest time.

"Can I help you?" I looked at his reflection in the mirror.

"Rude much?" he pouted.

It made me laugh. "I think Avatar is on. You're more than welcome to go watch TV."

"Don't have to tell me twice," he winked before walking off.

I finished straightening my hair and went into my room. Me being the procrastinator I am, I never picked out an outfit.

I checked the weather. It was going to be close to 80 degrees today. Finally! Some Summer weather.

I put on a regular black slim tee with some high waste blue shorts. Then I slipped on my converse. Done!

My phone went off. Text from Ana!

'Hey Hayles. Have some bad news. :/ Me and Siva can't make it today. I totally forgot we had dinner plans with my parents.'

'you're so lame. and that's fine. we'll have more fun without you guys. (;'

"Hayley!" I heard Jay call.

"What's up?" I asked walking into the living room. The TV was off so I'm assuming he didn't find what channel Avatar was on.

"This song makes me wanna salsa," he smiled.

"It's called 'Don't Let No One Get You Down.' It was my mom and dad's song." Sigh.

"Well it's perfect," he got up off the couch. "Have some news," he began.

"So do I."

"I'll go first," he insisted. "Max got grounded and can't come. Tom's long distance girlfriend is down for the weekend so you know what they're doing," he winked.
