38 Familiar Face

Today we all decide to go to an aquarium. I got dressed into a skull romper and chucks. My hair did its own thing.

I decided to call Jay, I wanted to go over our little script again when I call Hannah.

He picked it up after five rings.

"Baby!" Jay slurred.

Was he seriously drunk right now?

"Never mind, I'll just call you back later."

"But whhhyyy?!"

"Just go and have fun be don't be an idiot!" I warned.

He took awhile to reply. There was so much commotion in the background.

"Okay! I promise. See you soon, miss ya."

I hung up, shaking my head.

"Let's hit the road ladies!" I heard Sam yell from downstairs.

I was surprised Ana was still gonna go, but it proves just how strong she is.

After tying my shoes I made my way downstairs. We all settled in the car. Once we reached our destination we practically ran to the entrance.

The whole time there was truly amazing. I took a bunch of pictures of the jellyfish and sharks. Freshman year and before I always dreamed of having something to do with marine biology. My counselor pretty much shoved that idea out the door. She was a total bitch.

"Hayley mind taking a picture with me and the jellyfish?" Jenna asked.

"Of course not," I grabbed her phone and she did a funny pose when I snapped the picture.

She took it back smiling, "Max would be so jealous right now."

"He really would," I agreed.

I looked over to where Sam and Ana stood, they were observing the sharks. Ana seemed to be holding herself well which is a good thing.

"She's a solider ain't she?" Jenna nudged me.

"Definitely."

Since the aquarium was on the Pier we finished going around the places we missed the other day. For example, the seals!!! There must've been a hundred at least resting on the floating decks. The only down side of it was the stench.

"Let's go before I throw up," Sam muttered.

We walked around more and I noticed a tattoo shop. That had to be new.

"Wanna go check it out?" Ana asked obviously catching my drift.

I nodded my head excitingly before leading all the girls inside.

"Hey ladies," a tatted girl greeted us.

We all said our hellos.

There was a guy currently getting worked on across the room. I peeked over a little. The piece looked amazing! And it was being done by a girl. Although I couldn't see her face, the hair gave it away. Plus her sleeve of tattoos didn't scream manly!

"Hayles!" Ana called from behind. I was soon next to her where she was admiring a bag with skulls all over it.

"Pretty sick," I commented.

"Sixty dollars though," she muttered.

"Yolo," I heard Sam joke from behind.

We laughed. I spotted Jenna using an iPad the store provides to look through tattoo art work.

I walked over, suddenly intrigued.

"Ever wanted one?" she asked me.

"Hell yea. I actually already know what it would be," I admitted.

"What?" she asked curiously.

"I want like a Ed-Hardy typed tattoo where it's jellyfish and a quote from the song 'Seventy times 7.' The quote would be 'I've seen more spine in jellyfish.'"

"Sounds pretty rad," a voice from behind said. I turned facing the tatted girl who greeted us when we first got here. "I actually have someone here who can do exactly what you're asking for. Plus she goes really easy on tattoo virgins,"

she winked.

"I don't think now is when I want it though," I shrugged.

"C'mon," she urged. "You aren't going to get any service like this anywhere else. You a tourist?"

"I used to live here, now I'm in the UK."

"You should know what's up then! Just do it here, trust me you won't regret it."

"Where do I sit?"

The girls thought I went mental at first but eventually gave in to the idea. The tattoo was pretty much a 'fuck you' to anyone who made my life a living hell, especially Kendra.

I sat in this leather seat, waiting for the artist. I looked through her work before giving the 'ok' and I already knew I wasn't going to be disappointed. Maybe Cordelia will be when she finds out.

I had my eyes closed when I heard the artist sat in her seat next to me. I opened my eyes to see her, Hannah.
