"I really wish they'd just make up already," I told Nathan.
We were currently fixing the CD's. It was Thursday now and I wanted this weekend to come fast.
Jay and Oliver still hadn't made any effort to talk or see each other. It was bugging the hell out of me.
"Well I don't know what to tell you. They both seem to have something bothering them," he shrugged.
I can't tell Nathan. It'd make me sound like the bad guy. Which I pretty much am.
"Why don't you just set them up together?" he asked.
"No. That' end up bad. They'd blame me and I don't want that."
"Well I don't know what to tell you."
"Maybe you could do it?"
"You're funny."
"C'mon! It's not like they're complete strangers to you. You know them both very well. Please!"
"I'll see what I can do. But you owe me," he pointed a finger.
"Thanks," I surprised him with a hug.
He awkwardly hugged back. "You're welcome."

Friday. Finally.
So I guess after school me, Jenna, and Ana were having a sleepover. Not at mine or Jenna's house, but at Ana's. Before that we were gonna go to the movies.
I wasn't complaining. It actually sounded like fun. Haven't seen Jenna in awhile.
"So I hear you're having a sleepover with my girlfriend tonight," Max rose an eyebrow. "No boy talk."
I giggled. We were in first period with Tom. It was a 'work day.' Basically a day where everyone just sits and chills.
"Girlfriend?" I raise an eyebrow.
"We made it official two days ago," he had the biggest grin on his face.
"You're welcome."
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"If it wasn't for me you wouldn't have even talked to her!"
"True," Tom butted in.
"I was actually," he defended.
"Bullshit!" I yelled. You know that moment you say something loud and at that same exact moment the class quiets down? Well that just happened.
"Hayley!" Mr. Lark yelled. "That language will not be tolerated in my class. Detention here at lunch."
I was shocked. Great. Just wonderful. Asshole.
"Yes, Mr. Lark," I shot him a smile.

Detention started and I was already mentally killing myself. I'm the only one in here. Mr. Lark seemed busy on his computer so I pulled out my phone.
The door opened and the devil himself walked in, Oliver.
"Glad you can join us," Mr. Lark greeted. "Sit anywhere besides next to Hayley."
He sat a seat ahead of me. Why did he have fourth period detention? Wasn't he in fifth period lunch?
I decided to text him.
'why are you here? i thought you had 5th lunch?'
'I do. But I'm a TA 4th and the teacher didn't need my help so I wanted to get my detention over with.'
