I was given a hug that I didn't return. She looked like shit, and I wasn't surprised. I almost felt bad for her, almost.

"Come on in," she said pulling away pushing her hair out of her face.

I sat down on what used to be my couch. Kendra sat next to me awkwardly.

"I don't even know where to start," she broke the silence. "Are you home for good?"

I shook my head no.

"Well I'm glad you came to visit," she said with hopeful eyes. "How's my sister?"

"Listen Kendra. The only reason I wanted to stop by here was to thank you. All the bullshit you put me through made me so much stronger than I was before. My life has never been better and frankly, I'm happy with the change. Cordelia's helped more than you ever have." I had no sympathy.

"I understand why you're upset," she had a straight face. "I'ts been hard, trying to get back on my feet. I'm doing the best I can."

"I'm surprised you've managed to keep the house. Who's helping? A new boyfriend perhaps?" I rolled my eyes.

"Yes," she admitted. "His name is Greg."

"Does he know about me?"

"No," she muttered.

"Good. Let's keep it that way."

The silence was deafening. I feel like I needed to say what was already said. There's nothing to do now.

"I guess I'm done here," I finally announced.

"Do you want the rest of your belongings?" she asked quickly.

"What belongings?" I would've said no but I was curious. Honestly, I don't remember leaving anything behind.

"Follow me," she got up and went to the basement.

"I'll wait up here," I said.

She just nodded her head and went down. I had way too many memories in there. Mostly with Alek, not freaky shit but meaningful stuff. He told me he loved me for the first time down there actually, not the most cliché place but it was different then any other story.

"You're such a dork," I whisper.

We couldn't be too loud or else my mom would hear us. Sneaking around wasn't anything new to me but Alek made it hard.

"Can I tell you something?" he asks.

"As long as it's nothing like your last question," I snickered.

"It isn't," he was being serious which made me nervous. "I feel like I can say this now," he smiled. The smile made me relax.

"I love you Hayley."

"I love you too Alek."

Kendra appeared with a box, she handed it over with a half smile.

"Thanks. I should be going now."

"Before you go, I need to ask how the gifts are going?"

"Perfectly fine," I began to walk out of the door.

"Hold on!"

I turned and she had tears welling her eyes.

"Will I ever see you again?"

"Sorry," I left knowing I wouldn't. Never will I walk this street again.

After coming up with a lie, Ana picked me up.

"So how's Siva?" I asked her on the drive back home.

"He's okay, I guess. Max and Tom send me updates from time to time. The funeral is tomorrow," the last part she said quietly.

I felt stupid for bringing it up now.

"Sorry you can't be there," I mumbled. "Want some In-N-Out? I'll pay."

She laughed a little, "Sure dude."

We went inside to eat cause we didn't feel like getting take out. Jenna and Sam would've probably been pissed that we went out to eat without them.

"Have you talked to Jay lately?" she asked.

"A couple days ago. It's funny actually, he was dead worried I was coming here. But he never tries to get a hold of me. Same with Oliver and Cor-mom."

"I'm sure they just want you to have your space and have fun. I let my parents know I wanted mine."

"I guess," I shrugged.

"Well how was your 'date?'"

I shook my head, "We caught up on a lot of things. It was cool."

"Are you going to miss him?"

"Not as much as I'm going to miss Hannah," I sighed.

"You guys seem really close," she smiled.

"We are. I have so many memories with her. I wish we could make more though."

"Well the tattoo job can be a new one! Maybe a Skype call? Hell maybe you'll come back or she can come visit."

"Thanks for that. How do you always know what to say?"

She shrugged, "It's just me," she winked before eating a fry.

"I hope you don't mind if I go out with her tomorrow."

"Dude, I'd be stupid if I was. I completely understand where you're coming from. You guys need the time together."

Perfect.
