Mira's POV

"Talaga?! Anong sabi ng ate mo?" - Claire

"Okay naman sa kanya. Nababaitan naman siya."

"Mukha lang..." - Gabby

Mahina namang hinampas ni Claire si Gabby. Sila lang ang kasama ko. The other two? Having their own businesses. I shared my thoughts to Claire on what happened last night. Eto namang si Gabby, patuloy ang pagsasalungat sa mga sinasabi ko. Every positive na sasabihin ko, siya namang nega ang sasabihin. 

"Mag-tapat nga kayo Gabby. Kilala niyo na ba si Jake for a long time? Kasi, parang inis na inis kayo sa kanya."

"Mira, just for this once, think straight. Tingin mo ba, seseryosohin ka ng lalaking 'yon?"

"Oy Bie, wag judgemental! Hindi naman ako ganyan sayo noon ah?" - Claire

"At least, you will always have my word, Bie. Pero ikaw Mira, I don't think so." - Gabby

"At bakit naman kasi hindi, ha?" 

"Look, someone who loves attentions, someone whose always in the spotlight, and someone who is really famous, specially on the girls, yun ang kasa-kasama mo ngayon!"

"And?"

Napa-hilamos na lang siya sa sinabi ko, "Couldn't you get the logic?"

"I do pero why would you hate him?"

"We hated him for you! Ang kaso, ikaw naman 'tong patay-malisya, tuloy pa rin ng tuloy."

Sumubo ako ng ice cream na kanina ko pa hawak, "Alam ko namang mabilis lahat eh pero he's working it out, earning our trust."

"Tss. Earning, eh tiwalang-tiwala ka na nga sa kanya eh! To the extent na siya na ang nag-hahatid sayo."

"It is his way of earning Ate's trust."

"Oo nga naman Bie. Ganun ka din naman eh!"

"Don't you even dare comparing me to that scumbag, Claire."

"Sorry..."

"Tss. Sobra 'to oh! Claire, wag kang ma-threaten jan. At ikaw! Claire's not even comparing  you to him. At sabihin mo lang kung ayaw mo siyang pag-usapan. We can just easily divert the topic! My goodness, Gabby!"

Ang kaso, wala nang nag-salita sa'min mula nang sabihin ko yun. Instead, we all continued eating the ice cream we bought. I took the time para makapag-isip-isip. Seriously, I know, I really know that I got into this so fast. Nag-kakilala pa lang kami ni Jake within just a week. I'm aware of that. Part of me kept on saying that I should know this guy and part of me tells the other way. There something in Jake that is very mysterious and I should know about. I find him very different among other guys I've met, well, excluding sila Xander. Napapa-isip din ako na I should get out from my comfort zone and get along to other people. At mag-sisimula ako by knowing Jake more. 

Napa-tayo ako nang makita ko ang grupo nila Jake na mukhang kaka-labas pa lang mula sa practice.

"I think, I'll go now. Thanks sa time." tumayo ako kaagad paalis. Narinig ko pa silang tinawag ako pero tumakbo ako papunta kanila Jake. I really want to confirm something right now.

"Jake!!!" Tumigil silang lahat at napa-tingin sa'kin. "Hello! Good Afternoon..."

Some of them greeted me back and some just smiled.

"Uhhm, pwede ka ba ngayon?" I asked Jake

But contrary to my expectations when I saw his face, it seems like shouldn't show within this moment.
