Xander's POV

Mom's call a while ago that made me pissed this early morning. She just simply told me to pack my things up and follow them. Fck! Napaka-daling sabihin pero hindi nila alam kung gano ka-hirap.

I have some certain reasons why I don't want to leave. First, I can finish my studies here. Second, I can live by myself without them, nakayanan ko nga ng ilang taon eh. Lastly, I'm trying to figure out on what to do just because I'm confused.

I can't leave her

I would be an @ss if ever I do that. Knowing the current situation of her having the sht bullies. I can't. I just can't.

Mira is close to mom ever since her orphan age. Itinuturing na ni Mama si Mira as her daughter. But fvck! She'll never be my sister for whoever's sake.

I still remembered the day when I was having a simple tantrums about the idea of Mira being adopted by Mom.

"But Xander Matt, don't you want it that you'll be having a little sister?"

"No! I only want me. Its already enough! Mira could be just my friend! I don't want her to be my sister!"

"But why?"

"I... I don't know! Just please mom! Let her study in my school but don't make her my sister."

Hindi ko rin alam ang dahilan kung bakit pero pakiramdam ko, it won't be comfortable anymore. I just want her to be my friend, but now? I guess not.

Speaking of Mira, puntahan ko kaya siya? Wala naman akong magawa dito. Agad akong nag-bihis at bumaba.

I sneakily walked towards the small cabinet which where the car keys was. I'm still a minor and I don't have any driver's license that make me drive freely. Ayaw akong kunan ni Dad dahil alam niyang 'di ako mapagkakatiwalaan pag-dating sa ganto. That's why he hired a driver for me na minsan at tinatakasan ko naman.

Palabas na sana ako ng pinto nang marinig ko ang boses ni manang.

"At saan ka naman pupunta, hijo?"

I awkwardly smiled at her. Wrong timing! "May bibilhin lang po sa tindihan."

"Bibili ka lang sa tindahan, kailangan mo pang dalhin ang susi ng kotse?"

Sht. 'Di ko na talaga matakasan si manang kahit kailan. Para ko na siyang lola.

"Manang...?"

"Ano na naman 'yon?"

"Pwede po ba akong umalis?"

"At gagamitin mo ang kotse?"

I slowly nodded. Please, let me go!

"Hindi. Dito ka lang. Ipag-hahanda na lang kita ng meryenda."

"Manang, pupunta lang po ako kay Mira. May gagawin lang po kami."
