So W was a thot last chapter and:
1. Didn't let people vote
2. Didn't register votes
3. Took down the chapter altogether
So if you could please vote on that/read "Guess Who", that'd be fantastic

And now back to your regularly scheduled programming:
I stood in front of the large blackboard in the lecture hall, my newest alias written in chalk, looking out at the class seated in their chairs with an scowl covering my features.

Eren Smith hasn't turned up. Normal. Lots of students show up late. Some come from small high schools. Coming to a campus this big can be a lot, according to Watari; though I'm not so sure they would know.

I continued to ponder Eren Smith's late arrival, biting the inside of my cheeks as I tried to figure out where the brat was.

"It's too fucking dirty..." I muttered. When I couldn't think straight it had to be dirt; there was no other reason for me to be unable to focus.

"I mean it could be the fact that you have no people skills, you're a hermit, and have never actually gone undercover before. But, I mean, what would I know? I'm not the one who is the proclaimed 'Humanity's Strongest Detective.' Just calm your shit, L," Watari's voice replied through my earpiece.

"Is that a touch of sass that I'm hearing, W?" I asked.

"I hate my code name. Yours is awesome, and only because I was the one who came up with it."

I rolled my eyes. Upon doing so, I noticed none other than Eren Smith, sitting down in the seat I'd assigned him two days prior to our current class.

How the hell did I not hear him open the door?

"Smith!" I growled, narrowing my gaze into a glare as he sat with his signature innocent smile. The smile that always had something hidden behind it; not that Watari agreed, but they'd never seen the boy so they couldn't say anything. "Stay after class."

"Whatever you say, Professor." Eren replied.

I sighed as all of Smith's classmates left the room, talking to one-another as if they actually had conversations which weren't completely irrelevant to their lives. Teenage interactions were really weird.

"You were late. Again."

"Sorry, Professor Downey. I overslept."

"Class began at three o'clock." I stated with a frown.

"I'm a teenager, I live alone. Do you seriously expect me to wake up before two?" Eren asked innocently, as if it were normal to sleep past noon.

"When you have my class, I do. All of your classmates managed to get here before the bell rang. If they can do it, I'm sure you can as well." I let a small smirk find its way onto my face, edging closer so I could whisper into the boy's ear. "If most people get here on time and you don't, I have no choice but to assume there's a different reason you were late. Maybe you were doing something you shouldn't have been doing."

"L, leave Smith alone." Watari whispered through the earpiece. If I wasn't standing so close to Eren I would've said something snarky back. "Eren got your tongue again?" they teased. I could tell they were having the time of their life.

"Professor, with all due respect, are you supposed to suspect your students are doing something illegal? Besides, we agreed that I was innocent until proven guilty," he backed away from me.

"Smith, being late to my lessons is not a good way to make me think your words have any credibility." I told the brunette as he awkwardly fiddled with his hands.
