"Anti-Kira, who are they? They've been killing off criminals left and right, but they're... different from the regular Kira," Watari stated, throwing a case file down in front of me, startling me as I drank my tea.

I picked up the file, glancing over it, "How do we know this isn't just the original Kira? They've undergone revolutions before, maybe the power just got to them."

Watari shook their head, "No. That's not it," Watari pointed to a chart that they had composed, "Those who have been killed are people that Kira normally wouldn't kill; people who commit tiny crimes of little significance, things like stealing a roll of bread. This Kira sounds power crazy, the original is more composed. They think rationally before thinking. Anti-Kira even went on some sort of talk show, the original is too smart to do something that might compromise their identity."

"So you're saying that Kira's powers aren't exclusive to one person?" Watari nodded, "If Eren Smith is Kira, that would explain how people continued to die while we were in New Jersey."

"Exactly. Eren Smith is the closest to a lead we have on Kira, so when he had a genuine alibi for three days I wasn't sure what to think. There's a possibility Kira can affect the times and dates of their victim's deaths, but some of the people who died were people who commit crimes at that certain moment in time, needing immediate action. Kira has godly powers, but nobody can see into the future."

I picked up my phone, ringing Klara. She answered rather quickly, speaking with a groggy voice. "L? What's up? Did something happen?"

"Watari has a theory, could you come over?" I asked, getting straight to the point.

Klara groaned through the receiver, "L, I'm really tired."

"Klara, please, it's important."

There were a few moments of silence before I heard a sigh. "I'll be there soon." The brunette mumbled, "Dustin, I gotta go."

"'Kay, bye. I'll clean up then," Dustin's voice was less tired than the female's, "I have to go to my dorm to see something anyway."

I could practically hear Klara's smile through the phone, the sound of a light kiss, probably on the cheek, coming through my phone, "See you, Dustin." She turned her attention back to me. "Later, L."

The dialer tone started, signalling she'd hung up, and I put my phone down. "If he hurts her, I'll strangle him." I muttered.

"Are you jealous?" Watari teased.

"No, I'm just being protective."

"You sound jealous."

"Shut up."

Watari rolled their eyes, "Jealous."

"That's... pretty damn sound." Klara admitted, looking at Watari in amazement. "Where exactly did Levi meet you? I mean, I knew you were smart, you've been helping him out since we split ways, but I genuinely have no clue where you two met."

"During my last case in Japan, Watari got assigned as my bodyguard. They were helpful so I asked if they'd be interested in staying for the rest of my cases." I replied with a shrug. "Watari's intellect impressed me, and it's not as if having another hand would be any harm when I work in the field."

"And so here we are, I'm stuck with him."

"You're the one who agreed to come with me."

"Let's not get heated here," Klara interrupted. "Do you think we'll need any extra help finding this other Kira?"
