I thought I would try and surprise you, she told me with tears in her eyes.

Well it worked, I told her also crying. Come in.

Wow, this is such a beautiful house! Is there anyone else here? Audrey asked obviously implying if Ethan and Grayson were here.

Nope, James went to the beach with two of his friends, so I am just hanging out with one of my new friends, Cameron. I told her.

Just then Cameron walked over to us from the kitchen with her water.

Hey Cam, this is my best friend and college roommate Audrey! I introduced them.

Hi Audrey! Its so nice to meet you! Cameron said.

Oh my gosh, hi. It is so nice to meet you too, Audrey replied with a huge smile.

She is a fan of your brothers just like me. But she kind of shows it more, unlike me. I whispered to Cam. Cameron nodded her head.

Well we were just starting season 2 of Riverdale! Want to join? Cameron asked Audrey.

Omg yes! I love that show. Audrey exclaimed.

We all made our way up the stairs and into my bedroom. It was so nice, my new friend I had just made and my college roommate. We were all enjoying our time together getting to know each other, gossiping and telling stupid jokes. This is really what I need right now. I completely forgot about the twins. This summer is going to be the best, I just know it.

Hey Taylor! Were home! James yelled to me.

Great. Just great. I thought to myself.

Audrey looked at me with wide eyes. I gave her a dont flip out just stay calm and keep it together look. With that we all decided we should probably head downstairs, so we dont seem rude.

Hey guys how was your day? Ethan asked us.

Good, Taylor is my new best friend. We have so much in common. Cameron said with a smile.

Taylor is mine! Ethan fired back jokingly.

Im Camerons. I said with a straight face.

Ethan just gave me a weird look, it seemed like it was kind of a disappointed one. I must stick to my decision, no matter how tempting it is to hang out with them and create a friendship.

Come on Cam were leaving, you too Gray. Ethan said with a frown as he walked out of the room.

Sorry TayTay, I got to go I guess. See you later Audrey! Cameron said.

Audrey was too caught up talking to Grayson. She didnt even pay attention to what Cameron said.

Did you say something Cameron? Audrey asked.

Cam and I just laughed at her and Grayson. They all walked out the door following a sad, upset Ethan.

Text you later Taylor! Cameron shouted as she walked out and shut the door.

Taylor can we talk? James asked with a somewhat serious tone in his voice.

Sure, can Audrey stay? I asked him.

Yes, come on lets go sit on the couch. James said.

We followed him to the couch and I sat next to him. Audrey told me she was going to give us time alone to talk even though I trued convincing her to stay. I knew what this talk was going to be about, and I needed her back up.

Why are you acting the way you are towards Ethan and Grayson? James asked me. I thought you looked up to them.

I dont want to be the fan girl sister that gets in the way of your friendships with them. I told him trying to not break down into tears right there. I want to hang out with them. You have no idea, but I know you havent had the most loyal in the friends in the past and I think you finally have some. I dont want to make things weird and screw them up between you guys.

Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. James told me sounding a little upset about what I had just said. Can I let you in on a little secret? You cant tell anyone, except Audrey. I know youll tell her.

I nodded my head wondering what he was about to say.

Ethan has had a crush on you for a long time. The first time we hung out he saw the funny prom picture from your senior year that we took together. He then started asking multiple questions about you, asked me when you were coming home constantly and asked me if we could go out to see you. Today at the beach he asked me what he was doing wrong, why you wouldnt talk to him. Then he said, I have a huge crush on her ever since I saw that funny prom picture of you two. James confessed to me.

I dont know what to say, I said in awe of what he had just told me. Can I go to bed? I need to sleep its been a long day.

James nodded his head and I headed for my room. I needed to tell Audrey everything. Do I still push him away? It could still end up bad in the end. Do I change my decision and get to know Ethan better? I opened my door to hear Audrey giggling and talking to someone. I went in to see her on the phone.

Who is it? I whispered to her.

Grayson, she replied.

For some reason this doesnt surprise me at all. They seemed like they were hitting it off very well earlier. I am happy for her. She deserves someone that will treat her right. Her last boyfriend cheated on her. That was three years ago, and she hasnt dated in fear of getting cheated on since. I hope it works out for her.

I changed into sweatpants and an Adidas sweatshirt. I went and sat by Audrey on my bed.

We need to talk, I told her.

I have all the time in the world. What is going on? She asked me.

I told her everything that James told me. Her jaw was dropped the whole time I swear. No exaggeration. We decided I need to really think about it. It didnt take me long. I decided. I made the decision I thought was right. Now I need to talk to Grayson and explain everything to him, why I was actin the way I was. The Ethan topic needs to be discussed also.
