Chapter 32

*fast forward five years*

            Well, five years later and Erica finally started leaving me alone a couple months ago. Apparently she now lived in Bora Bora with some old guy she married. Me? Well I tried getting in touch with Ethan, he must've changed his number. I am living in LA with my boyfriend Nate. I got my college degree and I got the job with the New England Patriots, therefore I am moving back to Jersey and Nate is joining me. I know I won't be able to avoid Ethan forever considering he moved back there and he is neighbors with my parents. I won't be living there though. Nate and I are getting an apartment together about twenty minutes from my parents. You're probably wondering if anything else happened with Ethan. He got a girlfriend, I still follow him on social media. Her name is Morgan and they look so happy together. I love Nate but of course now that Erica is out of the picture, in the back of my head all I hear is "go find him." I just ignore it though. As for Audrey she is moved in with Grayson. They have their own cute house in LA on the beach. I haven't talked to Grayson either. I go and visit Audrey when he's gone and she comes to visit me. Today is the day Nate and I leave for New Jersey. I start my job in about a month. I honestly can't wait, I get to accomplish my goal. I am going to be the youngest athletic trainer the Patriots have ever hired. I already said my goodbyes and we are getting ready to leave for the airport.

            "Ready?" Nate asked me.

            "I have been ready," I said with a smile grabbing his hand and walking out the door.

            The flight was the usual, boring and all we did was sleep. I missed Audrey already. Even though she was upset over the whole Ethan thing she left it be because we are so close.

            I got off the plane and saw the beautiful Jersey landscape upon me. New Jersey never failed to amaze me that's for sure. I then got a call from my Dad.

            Me: Hello

            Dad: Hey Taylor! I got your text saying your flight landed. I just wanted to invite you and Nate over for dinner tonight. It would be so good to see you!

            Me: For sure! We will come over a little early! Give us about an hour.

            Dad: Sounds good, love you!

            I told Nate we were going over to my parents for dinner. We got an Uber to our new apartment. Once we got everything set Nate and I just admired the view. I could tell this was going to be an amazing life. To be honest, I could see myself with Nate in the future. After a long start I felt as if all the pieces were finally falling into place.

            "Ready to go to your parents?" Nate asked me giving me a hug.

            "Yes, I miss them so much," I said giving him a kiss.

            Nate and I got an Uber and headed to my parents house. Then a thought crossed my mind as we were almost there. What if Ethan is there? What if Grayson is there? What if Lisa and Sean or Cameron are there? What did Ethan ever tell them? I didn't have time to panic because we were already there. I spotted Lisa and Sean's car, great. And yes, I told Nate what happened, well kind of. I told him the lie I told Audrey because I am still paranoid of Erica. I knocked on the door and my Dad answered.

            "Taylor! We missed you so much! Come in," he greeted Nate and I.

            "Dad, Mom, this is my boyfriend Nate," I said introducing Nate.

            Nate shook my Dad's hand and gave my mom a hug.

            "You guys raised an amazing, kind, caring, loving daughter." Nate said smiling at me.
