Chapter 10

I woke up to mascara stains on my white pillow case. I turned to see Audrey laying at the end of my bed. My phone started ringing, I picked it up to see it was Grayson. Nope. Decline. I cant take the chance of it being Ethan. I looked at my notifications to see ten missed calls from James, fifty-two from Grayson (or should I say Ethan) and two from Mom, Dad, Lisa and Sean. I had so many text messages and snapchats.

James: Call me. Now.

Mom: Honey, call me when you get this please we are all worried.

Dad: Taylor answer your phone

Grayson: I know you dont want to talk to me right now, but you need to listen. It isnt what it looked like. I would never do that to you. EVER. -Ethan

Grayson: Its Grayson this time, talk to Ethan please.

I just ignored them and went to order Dominoes pizza. I order their pizza all the time. They even know my voice when I call.

No pineapple on your pizza today? Are you feeling okay? The man on the other end asked.

I always got pineapple pizza. It was something the twins loved so I decided to try it one day and I was in heaven.

No, not today. I said with a sad tone of voice.

That will be $6.32 Taylor, we will be there in about twenty minutes. The man told me.

Thank you, goodbye, I said.

I sat on the couch and Audrey came down and sat with me. Then there was a knock on the door. Audrey got up and greeted whoever was at the door. I turned around to see Cameron. I gave her a small smile.

We just ordered pizza and Riverdale was about to go on, I told her.

Taylor, we need to talk, Cameron said.

Can we just eat pizza and watch Riverdale for a little bit first Cam? I asked her, please?

She nodded her head and came to sit by me. I am so glad I have her. She has been busy with her job at Starbucks, so we havent been able to hang out as much. I will take whatever I can get though. I love her, she is such an amazing person. We got about fifteen minutes into Riverdale and the pizza guy showed up. I got my money and paid him. Cameron, Audrey and I all sat on the couch together and feasted on the delicious, hot cheese pizza. On the fourth episode I was about to fall asleep when my phone rang. I looked at the caller id to see it was James.

James: Hey sis, how are you?

Me: Good. Cam and Audrey are watching Riverdale with me. I think Cam is sleeping over.

James: Okay, I will be home in a little bit. We will talk later. Love you

Me: See you later, love you too

James will be home later, I told the girls.

So, since were awake, Cameron said.

I knew what was coming so I said, yes, I know. Lets talk.

Erica is a snob, Cameron said, when they dated I never liked her. I tried talking him out of the whole dating her thing, but he wouldnt listen. Typical right? They were together for a week and then she did something. When you and Ethan talk, which you will, I am sure he will tell you. But, I must let him do that when he is ready. Anyway, even just that week they dated he was a totally different person. Ethan wasnt the Eteeweetee we all know and love. Ethan was crabby, distant, never home, shutting his family out. It was just terrible.

Well why was he kissing her? I questioned Cameron.

After she saw his tweet she got jealous, Cameron said.

What tweet? I asked.

Just then Audrey butted in, You didnt see it? I thought you did thats why I didnt show you!

I just had a puzzled look on my face. I grabbed my phone and went on Twitter. Only to see #Taythan trending number one on Twitter. Ummm what?? I went to Ethans profile and didnt see anything. So then, I proceeded to Graysons. Then I saw it. Dang it Gray. He took a picture of when I was talking to Ethan while he was in coma and tweeted:

Hey bro @EthanDolan dont lose her. She is going to treat you right. Trust me.

I couldnt say anything. All I could do was cry. I looked at Cameron and Audrey.

Does he really like me this much? I asked them.

Then James and my parents walked into the room and interrupted our conversation, when you were walking away did you hear what Ethan said? My mom asked me.

No, I responded.

She just walked away with my dad after telling us goodnight. James went into his room and the girls and I went into mine. I really do need to talk to Ethan, but I dont know if I can yet. Not tomorrow, Im not ready. Maybe the day after.

So, Taylor, what do you say? Will you go talk to E tomorrow? Cameron asked.

You need to Taylor, you two would be so good together, Audrey piped in.

I am not ready to see him yet. Can I just stay home tomorrow? I promise I will go see him the next day. I pleaded trying to convince them to give me more time.

Promise? The next day, Cameron said.

Promise, I said to her.

And with that, we all drifted off to sleep.
