Chapter Ten

Isla's POV:

I woke up in Awsten's arms. He was so warm. I looked up at his pale face and his shut eyes, he was so pretty.

I saw Awsten's phone on the table and checked the time.

10:27.

I yawned causing Awsten's eyes to flutter open.

"Morning Isla." He smiled. My stomach flipped. I was literally crushing like a 13 year old.

"Good morning." I smiled back at him. I rested my head back onto his chest. I wasn't ready to move yet.

"You're so warm!" I whispered into his chest. He chuckled causing my head to vibrate again his laughter.

"You're so cuddly." He whispered in return.

"That's thanks to my extra layers of fat." I joked about one of my biggest insecurities.

"Mmm well I like it. Makes you comfy." I smiled. I didn't really think of it that way. I just so big thighs and a flabby tummy.

"We should probably get up but I don't want to move." Awsten laughed again at me. I dramatically stretched across his lap. He ran his fingers through my hair. Fuck! I loved it when he did that.

What I said next came as a total shock to me. The way his eyes looked at me must have intoxicated me and forced me to ask him a question I wouldn't normally have the guts to say.

"Would you like to go on a date with me?" I said softly. He looked down at me in shock.

"Shit. It's okay. Ignore me. Pretend I didn't ask. I understand don-" Awsten cut me off.

"Yes! Of course I want to go on a date with you! I would have asked you but I thought you just liked me as a friend so..." I smiled happily. He continued to stroke my hair.

"I don't know what it is, but you make me feel so comfortable." He beamed down at me.

"How about tomorrow we get up early and do something in Nottingham?" Awsten asked I nodded my head.

"We could get breakfast and go for a walk. Let me pay please. I asked." I suggested.

"No I'm not letting you pay for our first date. Otto and Geoff would be so disappointed!" I laughed at how he didn't want to disappoint his band mates.

"Well how about we meet halfway and split?" Awsten shook his head.

"Aws. I'm a feminist, I think that the guy shouldn't be expected to pay especially when the girl asked!" He just laughed.

"Will it make you happy if I let you split?" I nodded vigorously. "Fine." He sighed and laughed.

"I'm going to go for a shower. Do you want one before? I'm shaving my stubble so I'll be messy!" I laughed at his honestly.

"It's okay, I'll wait." I smiled and sat up, letting Awsten up for his shower.

As Awsten went to get a change of clothes and his toiletries, Otto came down the stairs.

"Oh hey Isla. Hi Awsten." He smiled and got a bottle of water. He came and sat next to me on the sofa.

"Hi." I smiled. Awsten went into the bathroom.

"How's it going?" I smiled excited at Otto. "What are you so smiley about?" He laughed and sipped his water.

"I asked Awsten on a date. He said yes!" Otto looked at me in awe.

"Wait what? Oh my god! That's so awesome. Awsten would have waited ages to get the nerves to ask you." He laughed.

"I kinda accidentally blurted it out when I was looking at him. He's just so sweet and kind, and cute. I've never felt this way so quickly! I'm not saying I love him, just have a massive crush on him. Why the fuck did I mention love? I definitely don't love him yet." I managed to stop my blubbering.
