Chapter Fourteen

Isla's POV:

My brother texted me telling me he was outside the venue. Waterparks was doing their meet and greet, and I was sat on the tour bus with Mia and a snoring Pete.

I texted Eli telling him to come to the back of the venue. I got off the bus and waited for him to show up.

"Hey Bug!" I heard Eli shout.

"E! Oh my god, I haven't seen you since Christmas!" I gave him a huge hug and he picked me up.

"We haven't been apart this long ever! I miss my twin sister!" He smiled.

"I've missed you too! I haven't had anyone to drag me along on weird adventures to get inspiration." We laughed. When ever I felt low back when we both still lived with our parents, Eli would get me out of bed and we'd drive to the middle of nowhere to find what he called inspiration.

"How's the road treating you, bug?" He asked.

"Will you stop calling me bug! I'm not 5 years old!" I whined and stomped my foot, disproving my point.

"You sure about that." He laughed as I rolled my eyes.

"Anyway, yeah the tour is great. Okay I know you're going to hate this but-" Eli sighed.

"What is it?" He asked.

"I kinda just went on a date with Awsten." He looked at me wide eyed.

"Wait! Why would I hate that? Get in there, I!" Okay I was confused.

"But you hate any guy I date. I thought you'd hate me going on a date with the lead singer of God's favourite boy band." He laughed.

"Dude! You've had a crush on him for well over a year. Plus you can get me free tickets and shit." I looked at him suspiciously.

"Hold up. You can not be this cool about it, you've always been my overprotective twin brother. So what's going on? Why are you so cool about this?" He smiled.

"I met this girl, I. She amazing and I think I love her and I want you to have the same." My jaw dropped. Eli had never been serious about any girl. He had always been a bad boy player.

"What? Oh my god! Who is she? Where is she from? How did you meet? What's she like? Can I meet her? Holy fuck, Eli! You've fallen in love! Have you told Rachel and Willow?" I jumped up and down in excitement.

"She's called Ella, she's 18, and she's studying Art History and I met her through a friend at a party. She's actually coming tonight, so I guess you can meet her. And I haven't told our mums yet so don't go blabbering because I want to tell them in person." He managed to reply to most of my rambled questions.

"When is she coming? Wait you could have given me more warning now I have get her a back stage pass too!" His eyes lit up.

"Wait you got me a back stage pass? How?" I laughed.

"Did I not just tell you that I just went on a date with the lead singer of the headline band?" He mouthed an 'oh yeah' and I patted him on his head. I had to go on my tippy toes to do this as he somehow became a whole foot taller than me. I remember when I was taller than him and now I'm 5'4 and he's a giant at 6'4.

"Okay well do you want to hang out on the bus whilst I go find two back stage passes from somewhere?" He nodded. We walked onto the bus.

"Hey Mia, this is my brother Eli. Do you mind keeping him company whilst I go do something? I won't be too long." I smiled.

"Yeah sure, I don't mind." She replied.

"If he gets annoying, unfortunately he doesn't have an off switch, but whacking him around the head usually does the trick." Mia and I laughed and Eli shot me a death glare.
