Chapter Twenty

Isla's POV:

We had both finished getting ready to meet everyone. I had dried my hair and done some simple makeup to compliment the look. I actually felt quite pretty.

Awsten had changed his jeans to a clean pair, of black ripped skinnys and put on a stripped muscle tee.

It was almost six o'clock so I found the only pair of heels I own, which are 3 inch thick heeled lace up boots, that are hella cute.

"You ready to go?" Awsten asked, coming up behind me and resting his chin on my shoulders and wrapping his arms around my waist.

"Mhm." I hummed, breathless from his touch.

"I feel smaller now." He said acknowledging I was wearing heels.

"You're still an inch or two taller than me." I replied. Awsten kissed my cheek then pulled away.

"Lets go then." I grabbed my phone and put some money in my bra. It was getting cold so I put on my denim jacket and we left the bus, closing the door behind us.

"You look beautiful by the way." Awsten said softy, my cheeks blushed a crimson red.

"You always look beautiful." I replied and rested my head on his shoulder, holding his hand and upper arm whilst still walking.

We walked the rest of the way in a comfortable silence, it was only a two minute walk anyway.

"Awstla!" Geoff shouted laughing as we approached everyone.

"What did you just say?" Awsten asked and I unwrapped my arms away from him.

"Awstla. It's your ship name. Do you know how hard it is to find a good ship name for you both." Geoff said and I blushed laughing.

"That's stupid." I laughed and pushed him jokingly.

"Yeah I much prefer just Awsten and Isla." Awsten smiled down at me with a floppy grin that made my stomach tie in knots. God damn he's beautiful.

"I like Gawsten." I said laughing, the both gave me death glares.

"Oh shit, Isla you've dyed your hair!" Otto said in shock.

"Damn every time you and Awsten are alone you turn more emo! Last time it was a piercing, this time a change of hair colour!" Geoff said laughing.

"It's not a phase mom!" I yelled bursting into laughter.

"Where are the others anyway?" Awsten asked noticing that it was only Otto and Geoff waiting for us.

"They told us to meet them at the restaurant, it's Italian. I checked they had a vegan menu, Isla." Geoff said smiling.

"Aww thanks for remembering." I gave him a hug.

"It's okay, I'm used to doing checking for Chloe, but then again, she usually chooses where we eat." He smiled but clearly had a twinge of sadness in his eyes, probably from missing his girlfriend.

"When did you last speak to her?" I asked as we started to walk to the restaurant, Otto and Awsten talking and following behind us.

"I texted her like an hour ago but I'm gonna see if she can FaceTime later." He smiled.

"Caught any good Pokemon today?" I asked.

"Nothing amazing yet." His face lit up.

"Hey." I froze as Awsten's arms wrapped around my waist. Geoff and Otto walked ahead of us.

"Hi." I whispered. He unwrapped his arms and instead rested his left one over my shoulders, holding me close as we walked.

"I'm cold. I'm not used to this level of coldness." I chuckled, it wasn't cold at all, it was about 9°c, usual for the nighttime.
