Awsten's POV:

When the bus arrived at tomorrow's venue, I ordered an uber.

"The uber will be here in 5 minutes." I smiled at Isla.

"Cool. I'll put my shoes on." She replied before putting on some vans and grabbing her denim jacket. The weather was holding up, it was cloudy and cold but at least it wasn't raining.

I switched my sweater for my pink hoodie and we waited for the uber outside.

When it arrived we both got into the back and set off. Isla was sitting on the edge of her seat in apprehension.

"Isla, sit back we won't be there for at least 15 minutes." She huffed and sat back, before looking at me smiling.

"Sometimes I'm literally five years old." She giggled. I smiled at how cute she was and rested my hand on top of hers, which was placed on the seat inbetween us.

"You and me both, buttercup." I chucked.

"Why do you call me buttercup?" She asked me.

"Because you're the one of beautiful flowers that stands out in a field of boring grass; you're a yellow lovely. Plus, it's totally cute and cheesy." We both giggled.

"You're so adorable, Aws." I blushed. "I usually hate all of this corny shit, but with you, it's different." She smiled causing my heart to flutter then I saw our uber driver smiling at us, like we were little puppy dogs.

"Don't waste that feeling. It's hard to come by." Our driver, who was about 50 years old, said. Isla hid her face in embarrassment, realising he had been listening to us the whole time.

"I'll try not." I said chuckling.

"Okay I'll stop ease dropping, do you want the radio on." He asked and I nodded, smiling.

He switched the radio on and Shawn Mendes- Stiches came on.

"Fuck wait. Say Shawn Mendes." I smiled wide eyed at Isla.

"What?" She laughed at me confused.

"Please, just say it." I egged her on.

"Um, Shawn Mendes." She said in her Yorkshire accent making me giggle.

"Why's that funny?" She asked smiling at me.

"Because English people say his name weirdly and it's just funny." I said still giggling a little and she just shook her head laughing.

"You're so stupid." She laughed.

We started to turn a corner up a woodland road. She looked out of the window desperate for any clues.

"Hey, could you drop us a couple of minutes away please?" I said to the driver, who slowed to a halt. Isla looked me questioningly.

I got out of the car and ran to Isla's side, opening her door for her. We stood to the side of the road as our uber reversed, before turning back on to the main road.

"I thought we could walk for a couple of minutes." I smiled explaining myself to her. My hands brushed hers before our fingers entwined.

We walked in a comfortable silence for a couple of minutes before we came across the sign

Forestview Monkey Sanctuary

"Awsten! You found this place!" Her face was bright and happy, I nodded in response. "Oh my god, Aws! This is perfect. I'm so happy right now!" She jumped up and down like an excitable child before wrapping her arms around my neck.
