Jamiya
Leti holds my hand and West tells me to think positive, but I'm still not sure if I want a positive result or not. Malo is currently with the doctor to see if she's pregnant or not and I should be with her, yet I can't get up from my seat in the waiting area.
"Are you sure you're ready?" Leti asks.
"I don't want to lose Malo and maybe she'll do all the work."
"If Leti got pregnant I'd leave her." West laughs.
"First of all, in order for you to leave me we'd actually have to be together." Leti smirks.
"What does that mean?" West demands.
Leti smiles and says "I'm single."
"Stop playing with me Leticia. You aren't fucking single, so stop saying that shit."
"Are you big mad or little mad?"
"I'm going to f-"
"Will y'all shut the fuck up? I'm finna become a mom over here." I demand. They both mumble a sorry and remain silent.
This could be the best or worse day of my life. If only I could decide what I want. I want Malo, but do I want a baby? Does she really want a baby or did my mom's words just get inside her head?
The thought that just won't leave my mind is Malo's lifestyle. What if she gets caught up and gets herself killed? I'll be stuck with a baby and what if the baby doesn't even like me? What if it hates me? Is it even gonna call me mom?
"Babe!" Malo yells.
I jump up and glare at her. "Why the hell you yelling?" I demand.
"I called your name three times and you weren't responding." She claims.
"Oh."
"So is you pregnant or not?" West asks.
"It's are you pregnant or not." Leti corrects her.
"I'm three weeks along!" Malo shouts. "I'm gonna be a mom!"

I plop down on Leti's bed and let out an exaggerated sigh. "What bitch?" Leti asks."What am I doing? What if I screw this kid up?"
"You will." She says nonchalantly. "Just do better than our parents and the kid should be okay."
"Malo is just so happy and I feel like I should be, but I'm not."
"I'm not either. We were suppose to have our kids at the same time." She complains.
"It's not too late. If you get pregnant right now they won't be far apart at all. Might be born the same week." I laugh as she gives me a face of disgust.
"I'm not ready for no baby and West is definitely not ready."
"She'll be in the same boat as me."
Knock. Knock.
"Go answer the door with your not ready ass." She orders. I roll my eyes and slam the door to her room on my way out.
I turn on the hallway light and look through the peephole, but it is covered. "Who is it?" I try to ask in my manly voice.
"Open the door." Some deep ass voice says. Maybe it's one of my brothers. I open the door and my jaw nearly hits the floor. "Hello Jamiya." Calvin smiles.
"Leti! It's for you!"

Leticia"What the fuck you doing here? How do you know where I live?" I demand.
"That is no way to speak to your father." Calvin tells me.
"What father? You are no father to me. I haven't seen you in five years since my sweet sixteen when you scared half the people away."
"But I paid for that party, didn't I? I paid for your first car, all those cheer camps, and whatever else you wanted."
"Just because your money was there, doesn't mean you were."
"I'll be in my room." Yaya says as she hurries off.
"Why are you here?" I demand.
"Naomi West." He smiles.
"What about her?"
"I know you are seeing her and it needs to stop. This phase has gone on too long." He says.
"Phase?" I raise an eyebrow at him. "You think this is a phase?"
"Well, What would you call it?"
"I'm a lesbian Calvin. It's not a phase."
"Either you end it now or I'll leave you with no choice."
