Malo
My baby boy is almost three months old and Jamiyah hasn't even seen him. It hurts so bad to think about the fact that she might not ever see him. If this plan doesn't work or if her memory never comes back, my whole life would be fucked up.
"Ms.Sullivan?"
I lay Westley down in his crib and kiss his forehead. "I love you son." I turn around and see Crystal, the babysitter, staring at me.
"Are you okay?" She wonders.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I shrug and begin to walk out of the room.
She steps in front of me and places her hands on my chest. "If you ever need to talk to me, I'm here." She takes a deep breath. "You can talk to me about anything."
"Thanks, but there's just some shit I can't talk to anybody about."
Crystal steps aside and I head downstairs. West is leaning up against the door waiting on me and I tell Just by looking at her face that she is also worried about Leti's plan. If anything goes wrong it fucks up all of our lives.
"You ready?" She asks.
"Yup." I nod my head and we head out.

*I've never willingly been inside a police station before. West and I even some cops on our payroll, but we never come to the station to handle business. We aren't even using our guys for this job because we need everything to be legit.
We need everything to work.
"The detective will see you now."
West and I look at each other and follow some lady to an interrogation room. We take our seats across from some older man, with grey hairs all in his beard.
"I'm detective Rogers. I was informed that you two have information about a robbery."
"My girlfriend's house was broken into." I explain.
"When did this take place?"
"We haven't spoken to her in a few days, but when we went by there the window was broken and everything was gone." West says.
"Do you know who did it?"
"Calvin Thorne." I tell him.
"Do you have any proof? What makes you think he did this?"
"We have a witness." West explains.
"Wait right here. I'm going to need to call in some more detectives." He says as he excuses himself from the room.
The plan is officially in motion.

*Leticia
Eight months pregnant. Kidnapped by own family.
This is not where I expected to be at. This is not how I want to bring my baby into the world.
"You're going to have a better life than me, okay baby girl?" I say as I rub my stomach. "I promise."
As soon as I get comfortable, I hear somebody tryna open my door. I force myself out of bed and swing the door open.
Calvin pushes passed me and sits down on the edge of my bed. "We need to talk." He says in a stern voice.
"We need to talk about you not barging into my room." I demand as I cross my arms.
"Sit down." He pats the spot on the bed next to him.
I reluctantly take a seat next to him, mainly because I'm pregnant and I can't stand for too long. "You're my daughter, Leticia. We're going to be a family whether you like it or not."
"Where was all this family shit when I was growing up?" I ask him. "You were so focused on being the biggest drug dealer that you weren't thinking about me."
"Look little girl!" He pokes my chest with his pointer finger. "Things were tough back then. Your mother got hooked on drugs and I couldn't raise two kids on my own. Your aunty could take care of you, so we thought that was best for you because you were young and you wouldn't remember like Calvin Jr."
"I don't want to hear your excuses. It's too late. I'm an adult now."
"I just came in here to tell you to stop whatever the hell you think you're doing. Detective Rogers called me today and told me that two bitches went to the police and reported a robbery."
"I don't know what you're talking about." I shrug.
"I'm the most powerful man in this city. You will not win whatever game you and those bitches are playing. Your mother wants her family together. She wants a second chance and I will not let anyone take that away from her."
He gets up from the bed and heads for the door. "Pack your shit. We leave in the morning."
If only he knew that the robbery story is just a cover. He's going so far down that nobody is going to be able to dig him out of this.
