13. AKIN SI BELYA

I woke up in the morning and go downstairs to have my first breakfast in my Lola's house.
In the dining room I saw Belya already having breakfast with my Mom, Lola, tita and Kuya JJ.
"Gising ka na pala, kumain ka na ng almusal. Di ka na namin ginising kasi baka pagod ka at gusto mo pang magpahinga." Ang sabi sa akin ni Mama.
"Magandang umaga po." My greeting then I sit beside Belya who seems avoiding to look at me.
"Magandang umaga Belya." She just keep chewing her food and acting that she didnt heard anything. Nagtatampo siguro about what I said last night na I remember her as my kalaro.
"Harry. You eat na." Ang sabi sa akin ni Lola while giving me a rice.
Natawa si Kuya JJ sa sinabi ni Lola, "Siguro talagang carbon copy mo ang Lolo mo. Di maka move on si Lola sayo eh."
I smiled on my Lola who keep on smiling at me.
Napatingin ako sa katabi kong si Belya. Shes so quiet... like she is not her.
"Nakatulog ka ba ng maayos?" I asked her.
"Oo naman." She said without looking at me.
Gosh... I think she's tampo. What should I do? Hindi naman sa pinagtritripan ko siya... ayoko lang ng akwardness. I want to know her as Belya of today and not the Belya who I have puppy love before.
"Belya, pagkatapos nating kumain pwede na kitang samahan sa Talipapa." I look at Kuya JJ. Whats Talipapa? Why he is going with Belya?
"Sige Kuya. Para fresh pa yung mabili natin." Belya answered.
Hey. Whats going on here. Are they planning behind my back?
"Anong Talipapa? Sama ako." sabi ko.
"Naku anak wag na. Maputik ron saka madaming tao ngayon don dahil madaming bagong huling isda."
"Okey lang. Basta sama ako."
"Sure ka insan. Sasamahan ko lang kasi si Belya kasi gusto niyang magluto ngayong araw." Kuya JJ said.
"Oo. Gusto kong kasama si Belya ahhh.... I mean, gusto ko mamasyal."
Belya look at me. She seriously look at me. Di ko sure sa meaning ng look na iyon. Is she really naiinis na sa akin?

I didnt expect that talipapa is really a mess. Ma-putik siya, crowded and super noisy.
I keep on  wiping the dirt in my legs pero dirty pa rin.
"Kaya sabi ko sayo wag ka ng sumama, maputik, madudumihan ko lang." Amg sabi ni Kuya Jj.
"Im fine. Dont mind me here. Im okey." I told him.
"Im fine pero punas ka ng punas diyan. Saka penalty ka umingles ka na naman."
"Oo nga pala. Magbubuhat na lang ako ng mga binili niyo." Sabi ko sa kanya.
"Ikaw pa talaga ang pumili ng consequence mo." Ang sabi ni Kuya Jj and I give him a smile.
"Okey na yun. Mamili na tayo." Belya said and she's not looking at me.
Okey fine. You may call me maarte or too OC but really the putik pissed me off and the smell of the fish... gosh.
"Ay Belya." Sabi ni Kuya Jj while im on their back following them dala dala ang mga goods na pinamili nila, my consequence.
"Yes Kuya?"
"Alalayan na kita, madulas kasi rito." Kuya JJ get the hand of Belya to alalay her.
It felt weird, there is heaviness inside of me when I saw him holding her hand.
"Am ako na lang." Then I get the another hand of Belya.
"Stephen ako na ang bahala kay Belya. Intindihin mo na lang yung mga pinamili natin."
"Hindi. Kaya ko. Si Belya saka yung mga pinamili." I told him.
Kuya Jj keeps on pulling Belya on his side, "Ako na sabi ang bahala kay Belya. Baka madulas lang siya sayo, madami kang dala."
"Kuya kaya ko sabi kaya akin si Belya." I pull Belya away from him nang... I have moved my feed in the mud, I get out of control... nadulas ako sa putikan while having Belya in my arms.
"Aayyy!" The people on the market shouted when our bodies got into mud.
Napahiga ako sa putikan while holding her kaya she's on top of me.
We both got shocked on what happened as we look at each other.
Bakit ganon? Why is there something when we have both stare at each other. Parang may volts... and I felt our hearts beating faster.
