*SAMS POV*

"This seat taken?" Ask some boy

"I- umm- no." I manage to get out

"Thank The Lord." He sits down and smiles at me

"I'm new here and well, back home when there was a new kid people were exited and here, they hate us."

"I know. I'm knew too." I smile

"Thomas."

"Sam."

"Pretty name for a pretty girl." He winks causing me to blush

"Thanks. So where did you move from?" I ask

"I lived in North Carolina just not in this area, you?"

"New York."

"Really!? Like the city!"

"No." I giggle "I wish."

"Oh. So any plans for today."

"Not really."

"Why don't we walk around and discover some new places together." He grabbed my hand

"That would be nice."

*HAYES POV*

I've been watching this kid flirt with Sam for like 15 minutes and she's not telling him to stop.

"Right Hayes!?" My friend asked bringing me back to reality.

"What? Uh ya." I say. I continue to watch him and he grabbed her hand. I stood up and slammed my fist on the table.

"Hayes. Baby sit down." Jennifer says

"Don't call me baby." I started walking towards Sam. Screw us not being together. I want her back.

"Let's go." I pick her up and bring her to the hallway

"Put me down!!" I put her down in the hall after her kicking and squirming to get out of my grip

"What the hell Hayes!"

"What was that!?"

"What!? Someone actually talking to me in school? Yeah that's called a friend." She tried walking away but I grabbed her wrist

"I'm sorry."

"You should be."

"Sam I'm serious. Did you see what I did? I just picked you up in front of everyone. They know now isn't that what matters?"

"I don't know. The only reason you did that is because-"

"Because I love you! And I don't want you with other guys!"

"It's my life Hayes! That girls in there are all over you! Do you see me complaining?"

"They are not!"

"Hayes."

"Ok but I don't flirt back. And I told them to stop!"

"Why?"

"Because I love someone else."

"I gotta go. Thomas is waiting."

"Oh that's his name. 'Thomas'?"

"Yeah it is." She crossed her arms

"Well maybe I should have a talk with this Thomas!" I turned around and stormed into the cafeteria.

"Hayes stop!" Sam managed to stop me before reaching the kid

"What!?"

"Leave him alone!"

"But... I..."

"But what? You're jealous now? Weren't jealous the other day when you were ignoring me."

"Please I'm sorry."

"Sorry is not enough." She turned around and walked over to Thomas and sat with him again.
