I peeked out the door into the dark building. It smelled horrible. I didn't see any zombies, or hear any but I'm sure there were some in here.
"Its clear". I whispered. Yael opened the door and handed me a pipe we ripped from the bathroom sinks earlier.
"Stay close". He whispered. We moved along the walls careful not to make a noise. Blood stained the walls and floor. We saw a few zombies. They were eating a dead body too busy to give us any care.
We finally made it unto the stage and at the Dj's stereo. The Dj lay dead on the ground. His arms were pulled off, they tore holes in his face and his nose was gone.
Yael noticed and pulled my gaze away. "J-just don't look". He said sounding shaky.
I kept watch while Yael tinkered with the stereo. The plan was to use the music to draw all the zombies inside and crawl though the bathroom window and lock them inside.
"Ok, the timer is set". Yael turned to me. "We got twenty seconds till the bass drops to get out of here". I nodded.
A loud moan came from our feet. The Dj somehow came back to life. It sat up trying to bite our ankles. We jumped back surprised. Yael almost fell off the stage. I grabbed his arm and swung him to the side. The Dj snarled and bit into my dress ripping the fabric off. I gripped my pipe and hit the zombie in the head.
It was fazed for a bit up tried to bite me again. I hit it again and the same thing happened.
Each time I hit it, I felt grossed out. It felt so wrong to beat what used to be a person into a pulp.
All my soft hits weren't doing anything and sooner or later the zombie would bite me.
I got on my knees and sent a full blow to its head. It snapped again almost getting my elbow. I slammed the pipe down on its skull multiple times.
I lost control and wouldn't stop. Yael came over and pulled me away. "Its ok, he's dead". He said pulling me into a hug. He quickly pulled away and helped me to my feet.
I looked at the remains of the Dj. His skull was now crushed in and his brains were spattered everywhere. The site was disgusting and too real for me.I leaned to the side and threw up.
All the sudden, The Nae Nae started playing loudly. All the zombies from outside started coming in.
"We need to go!" Yael said. He grabbed my hand and we ran back for the bathroom. We had to smash a few zombies on our way back.
Yael and I rushed in. "Out the window, now!" We yelled. Everyone lined up at the window. I noticed something.
"Where's Tyreese?" I asked. Yael rolled his eyes and crawled though the window leaving me alone in the bathroom.
I hurried back into the zombie infested dance floor. In all the darkness, I could see dozens of zombies but they couldn't see me. Soon there'd be thousands and camouflage wouldn't be my aid anymore.
I found Tyreese standing in the darkness looking down on a dead body. I approached him.
"What are you doing?" I whispered. "We need to get out of here". Tyreese didn't respond. I looked at the body he kept looking at.
It was Fiona. Her body was limp and lifeless covered blood. Half of her neck was apart from her body and her brains were scattered around her head as if someone stepped on her. One of her legs were gone and half her dress was in pieces.
"I saw", Tyreese stammered trying to bite back tears"I saw her struggling and I-I-I grabbed you". "She was my bestfriend..." Tyreese broke down in silent tears.
