0Ozzie didn't say or do anything. Her expression didn't change. She had a straight face. That scared me because I didn't know what she was thinking.

"No, you wouldn't do that". She said simply. She was trying to keep the tears in her eyes.

"Its  true...I had to put a bullet in her head, then I...let you take the blame".

Tears rolled down Ozzie's cheeks.

"Wh-why would you do that?" She asked sobbing.

"She saw something then ran off, she was attacked an-

"Or, she saw you murder Josh and you killed her to cover it up!" Ozzie shouted clenching her fist. That's what it looked like but that was far from it.

"No Ozzie I swear-

"Shut up!" She cried. "You're a big fat liar!" "All you ever do is lie to me!" "And everyone dies because of you too!" "Hailey, Dennis, Adam, Rick, Yael, Tyler, Jonah, Tyreese, Alex, Crash, uncle, mommy and daddy!" "Its all you're fault!" "How could you lie to me!" "I should've listened to Hailey, but I chose you over her!" "I didn't kill your bestfriend, why'd you kill mine?"

She probably didn't mean it but it still hurt. Ozzie cried into her hands.

"Ozzie, I-

I reached out to touch her. She jumped back, there was so much anger and hurt in her eyes.

"No!" She screamed. "Don't touch me!" "I hate you!"

Ozzie ran forward and pushed me. I fell back.

My stomach felt like it was just kicked and the inside was burning. I couldn't move because everything below my waist felt like it was slowly disappearing. Blood colored my shirt around my stomach. I was impaled by the lever.

"No!" Ozzie cried rushing over. "I didn't mean it Leola". "I'm sorry!"

I couldn't even speak because the pain was choking me. It hurt so freaking bad.

"Y-you're gonna be ok". Ozzie said crying some more. "I'm gonna get you out".

She grabbed my arm and tried pulling forward. My insides felt like they were being scratched and pulled on. I screamed in pain. Ozzie let go when she realized she was hurting me.

"O-Ozzie", I spoke. Talking even hurt.

"I'm sorry Leo I didn't mean it, none of it". She cried.

"I-it's ok j-just...". I gripped my hands around the lever squeezing it because it helped me deal with the pain.

"I can help, w-we can take the stick out the wall". She ran behind me and examined the lever.

Nothing she could do would help. Taking the lever out the wall surely wouldn't help. What am I gonna do, walk around with a lever sticking out of my stomach.

"Ozzie, no, don't do anything".  I said. She came back over where I could see her.

"Leola, I'm so sorry-

Something started pounding the office door.

"Its the military!" I cheered. "Ozzie go open the door for them".

She ran into the office. Suddenly, Ozzie screamed. I panicked because I couldn't see much.

"Ozzie, what's wrong?" "Ozzie?" The office door slammed shut. Ozzie ran back over to me.

"That's not the military!" She cried. "They're zombies and there's allot of them!"

Dammit, the zombies beat the soldiers to us. The soldiers are most likely dead if there's as many as Ozzie says there is.

"I closed the door, locked it, and used the chair to keep it closed". Ozzie continued. "I couldn't block the door with the desk because it was too heavy for me to push".

A chair was not going to keep the zombies out. I could hear them bang on the door right now. They'll get in and they'll kill both of us. There's no luck for me but Ozzie still has a chance.

I looked around for a exit Ozzie could use. There weren't any doors any where but there was a air vent on the wall that Ozzie could fit into.

"Ozzie". I called feeling the pain of talking. "Look behind you, there's a air vent". "Kick the bars in and get out of here".

Ozzie looked at the vent then turned back to me.

"No". She cried. "I don't want to leave you".

"Oz you have to". "Do you want to be eaten

"I don't care!" "I did this to you, I'm not leaving". "It's suppose to be Leola and Ozzie vs. The World, not just Ozzie". The zombies banged on the doors snarling louder and louder. It sounded like the door was about to give in.

"I'm not asking you, I'm telling you!" I screamed angrily. Blood started coming up my throat and settling in my mouth. Ozzie watched in horror as I coughed up blood.

When I was done, I felt so weak. It was really hard keep my eyes open.

"Ozzie...please". I said weakly as blood leaked from the corners of my mouth. Ozzie sadly walked over to the vent and kicked it in. She looked back at me one last time.

"Ozzie", I said "I need you to be a big girl for now on". "You're strong and you can get through anything". "Nothing can or will stop you if you just keep being pure". "Don't be scared just because I'm not there". "You're smarter than any zombie or bad guy and don't forget that".

Ozzie couldn't stop crying. "I can't stop being sacred", She cried. "I'm sorry".

"Any time you get scared, think about your bow". "When I gave it to you the first night it was Leola and Ozzie vs The World".

Ozzie nodded and wiped the tears off her face. "I love you". Ozzie said softly.

"I love you too". I replied with a smile.

The zombies got more rowdy and banged on the door some more. Ozzie had to close her eyes to look away from me. Then, she crawled into the vent and left.

She was gone. Its just me in this cold room. Some of the door bolts fell out.

You're going to die

The thought scared the hell out of me. I was so scared. What's it like to die? This death I'm suffering from right now is slow and painful and if I don't die now, those zombies will break in and quicken the process. Just thinking about it made tears roll down my face, I didn't know I was crying.

I'm not mad at Ozzie for what she did. It was a accident and she was mad. Its not like I can do anything about it anyway. I just hope that she'll be ok.

Most people would've been happy to die now a days but me...I would give anything to get back Ozzie. I don't care if I have to live this zombie life forever. If it means I get to be by Ozzie's side, I'll do it.

But there's no hope for me. I'm gonna die. Who knows, maybe I'll go to Heaven? If there even is one. Have a great big party with Crash, Dennis, Mrs. Hoble, Adam, Jonah and ever other wonderful person I've met on this journey. That put a smile on my face.

My eyelids began to get heavy. I couldn't keep them open any longer. Meanwhile, everything below my waist completely disappeared. I couldn't move it or even feel it. My upper body began to slouch over intill it stopped when my head was on the lever.

I heard gunshot from outside the office door. Is somebody shooting down the zombies?

My arms couldn't squeeze the lever anymore, I was too weak. It even became hard to breath. Darkness swallowed my eyesight intill I couldn't see anything.

The last thing I heard was the doors bust open and footsteps rushing towards me.
