"Don't tell, how can we not tell!"  Nia fumed.

"You shut the hell up, you didn't even try to help her!" Dennis angrily yelled.

"Y-yes I did!" Nia pleaded. "The zombie came too quickly there was nothing I could do!"

"Nothing you could do my ass!" He shouted. "My fucking mother is bitten!" Nia looked at me with the sad eyes pleading for help.

Would I help Nia. She's been acting like a jerk this whole trip but I doubt she'd let Mrs. Hoble die like she did to Greg. Greg was being attacked from a distance, Mrs. Hoble was right in front of her. If there was a chance, Nia would take it. No human in their right mind would let some one die just because that person was telling them to be nicer.

"Dennis...the zombie was fast and sneaky, its not her fault". I said softly trying not to get yelled at.

Dennis grunted at me then turned to aid his mother. I've never seem his so angry. I've never even seen him angry. All his cursing made me want to cover Ozzie's ears.

Mrs. Hoble looked very much in pain. Her pants leg was dripping blood and she was quietly weeping.

I rushed over trying to help leaving Ozzie standing over Mrs. Hoble with worry in her eyes.

The zombie got her deeply. Its a male so it'll be a few days before...

"We have to put her down".  Nia said carelessly. Dennis shot up with a darkness in his eyes.

"You're not fucking touching her!" He screamed. "S-she's going back to the market...for medication!"

"Are you crazy!" Nia yelled. "You know there's no cure!" "You're willing to risk everyone's lives just so you can live the fantasy that your mothers not gonna die!"

Dennis gave her a hated stare. There was a tension and I hoped I won't be put in between it because...I'll agree with Nia. She was right, he can't put other lives in danger, he'll have to just let his mother go.

"Dennis". His mom called faintly. Dennis quickly broke off his death stare and gave his attention to his mom.

"She's right".  Mrs. Hoble said. "I can't go back to the market". " Leave me".

"No!" Dennis cried. "I'm not leaving you!" Mrs. Hoble shook her head.

"No mama". Dennis whined as tears ran down her cheeks. "We-we can patch you up". "Ivan won't know". "You have a few more days left, please spend those days with me!"

Mrs. Hoble's hazel eyes glossed as she looked at me with a pleading look. She was asking me for permission!?!

That meant she would try Dennis's suggestion! Letting her into the market could get everyone killed but then again she had days intill she turned. One the last day, we could release her or something.

I nodded my head hoping I wouldn't regret it. Dennis and his mother looked surprised that I approved.

"What!" Nia shouted. "No, you'll kill everyone!"

"Its not killing if she leaves on her last day!" I pleaded. That shut Nia up. "Well hide the bite, let her stay a few days, then when you notice the last symptom we...let her go".

"Y-yeah!" Dennis said with hope in his voice. He turned back to his mom. "Mom, your last days are going to be great!"

Nia rolled her eyes. "I'm not going through with this, I'm telling Ivan". Dennis pointed his knife at her.
