"Are you hungry?"
"No."
"Thirsty?"
"No."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Positively absolutely?"
"Mr. Maurice..."
"Sorry." Mr. Maurice blew out a breathe as he made a right turn inside his quiet neighborhood. He lived in the suburbs of the Southwest side of Houston. It was the typical dwelling place of middle class breadwinners and families with a community park, tennis court, swimming pool, and basketball court implemented for use by it's cohabitants.
Mr. Maurice was caved in at Barrymore, grading papers, and listening to Joyner Lucas when he got a call from an unknown number. Although his first inclination was to ignore it, he answered anyway. He was taken back realizing it was Robyn who sounded like she was five seconds away from a breakdown.
Once she explained what was going on with her, Mr. Maurice didn't waste anytime meeting up with her at the gas station. She followed him to his house, before riding in his car to get new bed sheets and pillow cases and pick up some pizza from Fuzzys.
Robyn turned around, glancing at Majesty who was sleeping peacefully in the backseat. She exhaled deeply once Mr. Maurice pulled up in front of his house, killing the engine.
He took the box of pizzas from her hands, getting out of the car to unlock the door to his house.
Robyn grabbed Majesty from the backseat, following Mr. Maurice. Once they walked inside the cozy four bedroom home, Robyn couldn't help but admire the beauty and simplicity of his home.
