Amber sighed deeply as she looked out the window, getting a glimpse of the heavy church goers making their way inside of the doors of Lake Forest Church. She singled out a few familiar faces but quickly became overwhelmed seeing that most of the people she didn't know by name or even know who they were.
Lake Forest Church was the one of the biggest mega churches of Houston and held approximately 2,000 attendees every weekend. The church was a vital part of the community being active in community service, relief work, self service, and community meetings.
Amber's father, Leonard Streeter was a very prominent and well known man throughout the city. Which was a blessing and a curse for Amber. She couldn't go out and do anything without people pointing out that she was the preachers daughter. She felt like she didn't have her own identity outside of being the preachers daughter.
"Baby are you ready?"
Amber snapped out of her gaze, noticing her mother, Gabrielle walking in.
