✨Omniscient✨
🎶 City girls, from the 305. Ghetto booty, pretty face, thick thighs. Period! 🎶
"Y'all bitches know we live. Pimp a nigga head, straight to Ocean Drive. Period!" Amber rapped along to City Girls, as she danced in her vanity mirror, holding her brush to her mouth as the microphone.
It was going on her second day of suspension and she was on punishment, banned from going out and having fun. She had been confined to her comfy abode, only coming out to eat and shower. After the events from Homecoming, her family life had been completely flipped upside down. Her father had left the house and was staying at a hotel since her mother could no longer stand the sight of him. They got into a nasty argument the night of homecoming, and her father ended up leaving. Amber didn't know if they were going to get a divorce or stay separated but things weren't looking too good for them.
"Lil nigga where the bag at? Period!" Amber rapped in the mirror, flipping her jet black tresses over her shoulder.
Amber was so into the song that she didn't even notice her father walk into her room without knocking.
A look of disapproval fell on his face as he walked to her queen sized bed, turning off the music.
"What the-" Amber's voice fell flat when she turned around and realized it was none other than her lying, conniving, hypocrite, cheating father.
"So this is the kind of music you enjoy listening to? Filled with debasing and raunchy lyrics?" He raised a brow at her, placing his hands in his pockets.
Amber side eyed him, shaking her head in distaste. "As if listening to Kirk Franklin makes a person righteous and upright? It doesn't. You of all people should know that with your recent actions!" she spoke without thinking.
She watched as her fathers eyes widened in shock. His babygirl has never spoken to him like that. Out of his three girls, she was the one who looked at him as if he could never do any wrong. A true daddy's girl. But it was apparent that those days were over now.
He inhaled and exhaled deeply to keep himself calm. "Amber you need to stop speaking on things you don't know or understand," he stated through clenched teeth.
"I'm 17 dad. Not 7. And you can't expect me to not feel a way about this situation when it's literally tearing the family apart and then you go and preach to thousands of people every week telling them to stay close to god and stick to the straight and narrow but are you doing that?!" Amber refuted, feeling a certain boldness overcome her.
"You shut up little girl! You shut your mouth!" Pastor Streeter barked, pointing a finger at her.
"Whatever." Amber sat down at her vanity, examining her appearance.
Pastor Streeter sighed deeply as he picked up Amber's phone, noticing her screensaver. "Who is this?" He frowned, looking at the picture of the shirtless young man.
