As best friends, King George and Thomas Jefferson often talked about a lot of things on their minds. They had secretly grown close and rather enjoyed each other's company. However, George being the gay little shit that he is had developed lustful feelings for his friend. They had a complicated friendship. The two could only hang out in secret, otherwise, the Declaration of Independence wouldn't seem real. So there they were, King Geroge walked alongside Thomas Jefferson, the two were merely talking, when the subject of relationships came up, George had a hatred for the "break up" from the colonies. He also hated when Thomas talked about women.

"Why did you write that? Thomas what did I do to you? My colonies are running from me. My beautiful colonies! They have broken my heart!" He said in a fake upset tone. Thomas didn't catch on to his joking.

"I uh... W-why would y-you ask that? W-who t-told you I wrote it?"

"That is beside the point. My colony is gone... she has left..."

"P-please calm down-"

"Did I abuse her or show her disdain, why does she run from me?" King George breaks out into song, he steps on a rock and looks out at the ocean of the cliffside the two were walking along, George was trying to be funny, but Thomas was completely oblivious.

"Oh dear lord... You know you aren't the only one here chasing a... maiden-"

"If I should lose her, how shall I regain the heart she has won from me?" George continued, still trying to point out that he was joking. He inevitably gave up.

Thomas sighed. What had gotten into George? He was going mad over the colonies. Thomas was still having very real issues with getting the girl of his dreams, well, he thought she would be the girl of his dreams.

"You do realize I'm trying to get a girlfriend righ-"

"AGONY!!! BEYOND POWER OF SPEECH!!!" He cut him off, not wanting to hear about his female troubles.

"Oh sweet Jesus... why?"

"WHEN THE ONE THING YOU WANT, IS THE ONLY THING OUT OF YOUR REACH!"

Thomas was fed up by now, King George was talking only about his problems and ignoring the more real issue Thomas was having. That was it.

"High in her tower, she sits by the hour maintaining her hair..." Thomas began, wanting to be heard for once.

King George gave him a look that said: "bitch did you just interrupt my song?" Not that he cared, he loved hearing Thomas' voice.

"Blithe and becoming and frequently humming a lighthearted air- ah ah ah ah ah ah ah"

"Pardon me, I am in the middle of a song here-" George joked.

"AGONY! FAR MORE PAINFUL THAN YOURS!"

"Oh, I hardly think so-"

"When you know she would go with you if there only were doors."

Thomas stood on the rock with George and looked at him. The two were having real problems and barking at each other wasn't helping... George ripped open his button-down shirt to reveal his chest, Thomas fumbling to do the same. They looked at each other. George looked Thomas up and down.

"AGONY! OH, THE TORTURE THEY TEACH!" They sang together.

"What's as intriguing-" Thomas began.

"Or half so fatiguing," George cut him off before they both continued. "As what's out of reach.."

King George was dumbfounded. He believed himself to be the best king out there! How could someone not want him? How could Thomas be so blind to the flirting?

"Am I not sensitive, clever, well-mannered, considerate, passionate, charming as kind as I'm handsome and heir to a throne-"

"You are everything maidens could wish for-" Thomas insisted, suddenly looking at George and pushing away a certain feeling... George groaned. He did not want a "maiden." He wanted the man in front of him.

"Then why no?'

"Do I know?" Thomas questioned while rolling his eyes.

"The girl must be mad," George assumed.

Thomas was getting annoyed that George kept taking the spotlight. He had problems too! He wanted George to hear him.

"You know nothing of madness... Till you're climbing her hair and you see her up there as you're nearing her, all the while hearing her- ah ah ah ah ah ah ah ah"

"AGONY!" George started.

"MISERY!"

"WOE!"

"THOUGH IT'S DIFFERENT FOR EACH!" They both continued.

"Always ten steps behind..."

"Always ten feet below..." Thomas muttered.

"And she's just out of reach..."

"AGONY! THAT CAN CUT LIKE A KNIFE!"

Thomas was done with George saying all these things. He shoved him into the water, however, before he fell, George screeched and grabbed Thomas' arm, pulling into the ocean with him. They hit the water with a loud splash and stood up, looking away from each other as they finished the song, dripping wet.

"I must have her... To wife..."

They sang softly and looked at each other.

"Oh if only we could have what we wanted..." Thomas said miserably.

"We never will... Of course, we could try... other things..." George inquired.

"Such as what? What could possibly be better than the perfect girl??" Thomas shouted.

George smirked. His gay agenda having other plans, plans for his friend. He didn't want a girl. George damn well was making it obvious.

"Such as the perfect man," he smirks.

"WHAT-"

George grabbed Thomas' collar and yanked him forward in the water, connecting their lips. Thomas squeaked in shock, however, he closed his eyes and melted into the kiss. The two were enjoying a feeling of pure bliss as the cold ocean water enveloped their lower bodies, making them yearn for heat and press their bodies together, deepening the sloppy, wet kiss. Thomas' hair had matted and was messy from the water, George's wig had come off, revealing nice short brown hair. Somehow, these two seemingly straight men had fallen in love, and damn did they love it.

I don't even know where this came from... I was drawing King George, and one thing led to another, and I was listening to "Agony" and then I thought about King George and losing the colonies... Then I wanted to add someone to the story and I thought about Thomas... Then I remembered Jonathan Groff is gay and yeah... I ship it. So this happened. -Alexander
