OH MY GOD I DIDN'T REALIZE I HAD 10k!!!! THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH! (Someone said they shipped Leebury HARD but I can't find the comment from the person who said it... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!)
It was a nice day at school. Samuel Seabury sat at his desk writing notes, until someone came up looking for a fight.
"Heyyyy, It's little Sammy," called out the menacing voice belonging to Alexander Hamilton.
Samuel was scared of Alexander and his friends. They had beaten him up many times. The only person who related to him was James Madison who was constantly harassed by them when Thomas Jefferson wasn't around. Charles Lee was Samuel's boyfriend and defense. But he was out in the washroom, he felt vulnerable. Alexander cleared all the papers off his desk.
"Please Alexander... Don't hurt me..." Samuel begged.
"Don't hurt me," his friend John mocked.
Samuel got on the floor to pick up his belongings.
"Just leave me alone please."
Hercules Mulligan walked out from behind him with an arm firmly gripped around the waist of Lafayette. Sure, Samuel was scared of Alexander, but Hercules and Lafayette were walking tanks. This, this made him nearly shit himself.
He picked up his items and tried to run to the door, only to be stopped by the other arm of Hercules Mulligan. He fell to the floor and his items were in a messy pile next to him. He nearly started crying until a familiar voice filled the room.
"Leave him alone!" Came the strong voice of Charles Lee.
Alexander and John turned to face him, Alexander had a disliking towards him, and that's why he continues to mess with Samuel.
Alexander grabs John by the arm and walks out with Hercules and Lafayette.
Charles ran toward Samuel and picked up his boyfriend and belongings.
"Shhhh, Sammy It's okay, I won't let them hurt you."
Charles carried Samuel to his locker. He opened it and put Samuel's things in his bag. He slung the two bags over his shoulder and carried Samuel to his house. When they got to Charles' house, Charles put their things by the door and they went up to his bedroom. Knowing it would calm Samuel down, Charles turned on the radio. When suddenly, a familiar tune came on.
Charles smiled and slowly wrapped his arms around Samuel's waist. He sang along with the words softly.
"I met you in the dark, you lit me up. You made me feel as though I was enough. We danced the night away-"
Samuel cut him off.
"We drank too much. I held your hair back while you were throwing up. Then you smiled over your shoulder."
Charles smiled and continued.
"For a minute I was stone cold sober."
"I pulled you closer to my chest."
The two started to softly sway to the music. Samuel continued softly.
"And you asked me to stay over."
"I said, I already told ya: I think that you should get some rest."
Samuel smiled happily and sang along with Charles.
"I knew I loved you then, but you'd never know. Cause I played it cool when I was scared of letting go. I know I needed you, but I never showed. But I want to stay with you until we're gray and old."
Their voices were melodic when combined. They were like a Church choir.
"Just say you won't let go," Charles started.
"Just say you won't let go," Samuel continued.
They smiled and Charles sang the next part softly, it was like their brains knew who's turn it was to sing.
"I wake you up with some breakfast in bed, I'll bring you coffee with a kiss on your head. I'll take the kids to school, wave them goodbye, and I'll thank my lucky stars for that night."
Samuel sang softly as Charles stopped.
"When you look over your shoulder, for a minute I forget that I'm older. I wanna dance with you right now."
They began slow dancing together. Charles sang the next few lines.
"And you look as beautiful as ever, and I swear that every day I'll get better. You make me feel this way somehow."
Samuel blushed as they sang together.
"I'm so in love with you, and I hope you know, Darling your love is more than It's worth its weight in gold. We've come so far my dear, look how we've grown. I wanna stay with you until we're gray and old."
Samuel started.
"Just say you won't let go."
"Just say you won't let go," Charles continued.
They sang together, their voices soft and harmonious.
"I wanna live with you, even when we're ghosts. 'Cause you're always there for me when I needed you the most. I'm gonna love you 'til my lungs give out. I promise 'til death we part, like in our vows. So I wrote this song for you, now everybody knows that It's just you and me until we're gray and old.
Just say you won't let go... Just say you won't let go... Just say you won't let go...
Just say you won't let go."
Charles kissed Samuel softly, as they stood in Charles' room. The music finished and they smiled happily.
"I won't let go."
