Halfborn's POV:
I looked up as I saw Sam flying towards us. "Valkyrie approaching!" I shout. That's when I see the giant bird behind them. "Giant bird approaching!"
Sam landed, well more like crashed, she quickly staring explaining something about a giant and Magnus and some squirrels, not so sure about that last one.
The bird landed in the middle of town, transforming into a giant. He crashed the town. That didn't bother me it me as the next thing the giant did.
"You call this dirty hovel a town?!" He bellowed and stared laughing. Fire coursed through my blood. I thought of Fläm, this is where I took my first steps, said my first words, swung my first axe, heck I even kissed my first girl here (not that I was going to share that last bit).
T.J. and Alex ran forward only to have a building dropped on them.
I drew my battle axes and shouted. "For Fläm!" I hacked at the giant's feet seeing that they were the most venerable, and with in my reach. The rest was just a swing of my axes. Swing, slash, stab, repeat.
Fierro getting from under the building sliced off his head sending it flying.
Fierro and I helped T.J. then went back to "The Big Banana," Sam smiled at them. "Oh shoot, Mallory!" She said. I immediately was all ears, did something happen to her? Was she hurt? Worse? Where was she?
Sam took out a walnut, was she going to be eating like a time like this? Wait she isn't supposed to be eating. Sam opened the walnut and with a swoosh the red haired einherji appeared. She also did not look happy.
"What took you so long?" She asked Sam, her face red. "Were you in a nut the whole time?" Alex asked looking bewildered.
"Yeah, and I couldn't get out till someone LET me out!" Mallory glared pointy at Sam. "And it looks like you guys had all the fun without me!" Alex dives into what happened, stretching the details a bit too much. Sam and Mallory then told us their side.
I could tell Mallory was upset about the jotuns. "You did the right thing Mack, that was the best option. You shouldn't beat yourself up about a bunch of jotuns." That wasn't the right thing to say. T.J. exploded, "they wear slaves! They were just doing their task!"
"Well they were still trying to kill them!" I bellowed back.
I then noticed Magnus' presences. "Ah, there he is!" Hopefully Magnus will defend me here. "Magnus would you please explain to T.J. that those thralls had to die? He's giving Mack a hard time about it." I explained.
Realization appeared in Magnus' eyes. "They were slaves!" T.J. states again. "I get what happened. I get the reasoning . But still... you guys killed them. You cant expect me to be okay with this."
"They were jotuns!" I repeated, "they weren't even human!" Blitz cleared his throat mentioning Hearth and his species,  "ah you know what I mean." That was completely different. "I can't believe I'm saying this but Mack did the right thing."
I was hoping to score points with Mal, but one look and I knew that those points would not be rewarded to me. "Don't defend me," She snapped, "that makes it so much worse." Mallory then said a few words to comfort T.J. before he left for below.
My defeat of Baugi was brought up and once again Alex and Sam stretched the details. "Well he's dead that's all that matters." I said not really wanting to be fussed over.
Mallory expectorated over the side of the boat, " and I missed the whole thing, because I was stuck in the walnut."
"Yes, yes you did." Of course Mallory missed my moment of glory. I know that it wouldn't have changed anything, but I guy can hope. I just want something to come out of her mouth towards me that isn't sharp or angry.
"I imagine time goes slower inside the nut." I said fascinated by the thought.
"Shut up, oaf." Mallory growled. Yep one can only hope
