A/N
A bit more of a mature theme. I don't know if it's that bad but I'm just being cautious.
Magnus' POV:
Alex, TJ, and I were sitting in the lounge, each of us waiting for boredom to kill us. Even though we are all ready dead.
"I bet you Halfborn and Mallory are making out right now." Alex says, from his spot on the floor. He had been doing carpet angels only moments before.
"Yep." TJ adds, as he literally twiddles his thumbs.
"I saw Mallory trying to hide a hickey yesterday." I mutter. My legs legs swinging under my chair like a six year old.
"First one to find a hickey on one of them gets twenty dollars each from the other two." Alex says. All of the falafel I could buy with forty dollars.
"You're on." TJ and I say with shit-eating grins.

During dinner TJ, Alex, and I were casually looking at the couple's necks. Each of us trying to not get caught or look like complete creeps.
"What are you guys doing?" Mallory asks after five minutes of our low key glances.
Many "nos " "what?s" and "what are you doing?s" were thrown back at her.
"Ookkaayy." The redhead drags out skeptically.
The meal continues and an actual conversation plays out. About my embarrassing death in go fish to the death. Everyone has embarrassing deaths. Why are mine always brought up?
When we went back to floor 19, I stood next to Mallory in the elevator. Blushing as I tried to find a dark colored spot.
It didn't help when Alex whispered "perv" in my ear. His hair brushing against my cheek. As well as his lips and breath tickling my ear made me flush deeper than Mack's hair.
"Alex save whatever you have to say to Magnus for the bedroom." Mallory says smirking at Alex and I. My face burns many shades brighter.
"Says you Keen. We all saw Gunderson grab you ars before dinner." Between Mallory's face and mine, we could start an embarrassment from Alex support group. Her boyfriend on the other hand thought this was hilarious.
Halfborn's amused face bought him a slap from Mack.
"Oaf." She muttered and jabbed him in the stomach for good measure.
"Aww my otps." TJ coos as he wears a goofy grin.
"What's an otp?" Halfborn asks looking very confused.
"One True Pairing. Two people you really like together." I explain. Everyone gave me odd looks.
"What? No one is going to question the fact that TJ spends his free time shipping people in Valhalla?" I demand. Yes I like fandoms. I ship many people, both real and fictional.
"Your generation is so weird." Mallory mutters. Halfborn nobs next to her.
The door opens and we all go to TJ's room to have our arcade sniper shooting game tournament.
I glanced at Halfborn's neck and chest as he missed most of avatars running across the screen.
"You are aware you're supposed to hit the guys, right? Not the buildings." Mallory asks, who was currently in second. TJ was first, the game was literally located in his room.
"Pipe down, woman! A person can't concentrate with your talking." He huffed as his final score pops with.
"And his grand total is..." TJ drumrolls as the machine calculates. A large red 7 pops up on the screen.
"Seven." TJ finishes with a chuckle. "That's only 19,863,672, away from mine." The ex-union soldier states.
"They didn't have guns when I was alive. Stupid machines. No honor killing someone with a tiny piece of metal." The berserker mutters, shoving the game gun into Alex's hands.

The next two days were spent like so: I woke up earlier than usual to try and catch Mallory or Halfborn unprepared and, Alex and TJ silently bickered in who sat next to Mallory.
Everyone thought they would find the dark circle on Mallory. I on the other hand decided that with Mallory's personality, the hickey would be found on Halfborn.
Which on day three I did.
Floor 19 was participating in sandcastles to the death.
Halfborn twisted on my left and I saw it. A dark purple circle under his ear, hidden by his beard and long hair.
"Alex, TJ. I win!" I say. Alex glances at me with a look of disbelief.
I tap below my right ear, pointing out the location of it.
"On him!" I shout. Quickly dodging an plastic shovel. Somewhere behind me TJ swears.
I laugh, but next thing I know a flag has pierced my stomach. Cursing, darkness consumes me. A smirk on my dead face.
When I woke up I collected the  money and met Annabeth to get falafel.

20 min before
Halfborn's POV:
Mallory and I were in my room. Having a conversation about mathematics. That lasted only about a word as before I put aside my arithmetic paper.
Mack was on top of me. Our tongues doing a dance. Her lips moved to my neck to right behind my ear. I moaned and I could feel her smirk against my skin.
We had noticed our hall mates glances and knew what they were looking for. Therefore we kept all of the love-bites below the collar or hidden by my wild hair.
Mallory's chest was full of purple circles. As was mine.
A nip at my ear brought me back to the present.
"My turn." I mutter has I roll us over. I kissed Mallory passionately and was peppering her neck with kisses when a knock came.
"Halfborn we've got to go." Mallory groaned and I sat up. Leaving for sandcastles to the death.
