Halfborn's POV:
Mallory was hanging off my bed; her face was red from the rushing blood and her wild hair was in her face.
I was trying to work on a thesis for a class Valhalla was providing at a college level.
My girlfriend was humming and blowing her hair out of her face in puffs.
Mack had been doing this for an hour and it was beginning to get on my nerves.
"Would you stop that racket, woman!" I finally snapped.
"Excuse me, insufrible oaf! Not my fault you've been working on that for over two hours." She stated, she placed her hands down and rolled to the ground with a thunk.
"Did that knock put some sense back into that empty head of yours?" I ask, trying to focus on my thesis.
"Ha ha ha." Mallory said sarcastically. "Hit yourself with that fat book you've got there. Maybe you'll gain enough brains to finish that paper."
"Keen, this would take your red head years to finish." I say my eyes on my papers.
"This red head has more brains then you." I just scoff at her words.
Something wacked the back on my skull. I turned to see Mallory, already holding another book in her hand.
"You're so immature, woman." I take the book from her and put it back on the shelf.
"Don't call me, woman!" She fired, fuming. "You over grown ape!"
"An ape? At least I call you what you are! Mallory Keen: the most annoying person I've ever met!"
"You've got enough hair to be an ape!"
"Oh, please. Pathetic!" I say glaring down at her.
"That big mouth you've got, yet nothing but, nonsense comes out of it."
"Like when I asked you out? Yeah, that was nonsense!" I didn't mean that but she had worked my last nerve.
"What was even more nonsense was that I agreed!"
She picked up a large book and threw it at my head. I dodged it and threw my chair at her.
"I'm sick of you! Your obnoxious an-" I cut Mallory off with my own comment.
"Oh, obnoxious, that's a big word for you isn't it?"
She then tipped my heavy bookshelf over. It came down with a crash and I narrowly avoided getting crushed by it.
"You missed! Your aim is about as good as-"
"Good? Isn't that a big word for you?" She questioned.
"You can't even come up with things on your own-"
"I'm mocking you, dumb ars!"
I threw my axe at her and it hit the wall behind her. She threw one of her knives at me, I moved my head but the blade still grazed my ear.
"Stupid, berserker!" She screamed in anger.
She drew a sword that was on the wall and advanced, I dodged and grabbed her sword's twin.
We traded blows back and forth. Each full force and aimed at weak points in each other's defense.
Suddenly as if in slow motion, Mallory's sword slapped my hand. The force causing me to drop my sword. Mack moved quick, picking up the blade she pointed both blades at me.
A wave of emotion passed through me and I smiled.
"That's why I love you." I say, this caught her off guard enough for me to disarm her and kiss her.
It took her ten seconds to realize what was happening before she kissed me back.
I pinned her against a wall and she wrapped her legs around my waist. Mallory buried her hand in my hair and I began kissing her neck.
She moaned and I left bite marks on her freckled skin. Her hands tugged at my hair and beard.Unbeknownst to our two lovebirds their nosy hall-mates had been listening in. (Beginning of the fight)
"10 red gold says the bookshelf crashed." Alex mutters.
"But who will push it?" TJ questions.
"My money's on Mack." Magnus said.
There was a crash on the other side with more shouting.
"5 gold on that it'll last twenty minutes." TJ bargains
"10 gold it'll last ten minutes." Alex challenges.
Another crash sounds from the room.
"That's the bookshelf! Pay up!" Alex exclaims. TJ and Magnus groan before giving the green haired boy their gold.
The sound of weaponry on the other side can through the door.
"Fifteen gold that Malloy kills him." Alex says.
"Twenty gold that they both live and end up making out." Magnus counters.
"Your on Beantown." Alex and Magnus shake hands, both their hands tingling and their faces warm when they pull away.
"I'm out of gold, but I want to see the demon get his smirked wiped from his face." TJ says, settling back.
