With us now engaged and having to deal with all the questions about wedding planning, I finally told everyone they could do whatever they wanted. I just wanted to get through my senior year of college. Nash thought I was crazy. Considering I am marrying into his family, he was probably right.
Summer flew by, and before I knew it, we went back to school for our senior year except we had a couple of people in tow with us, Nolan and his new girlfriend Brook. The last girl he met didn't turn out to be all that great. Good thing I couldn't remember who she was.
We made our way back to school, and it took about three hours to arrive. Once we were back, I found out we were in a different house with just the brothers, the girls, and me. Everyone broke off into their rentals, with the cousins having their own home along with our roommates having their own.
I had a feeling things would get crazy quickly.
We got out of the car and grabbed some stuff to take it inside. Nash opened the door, and we stopped dead in our tracks.
"Nix, I thought you found a nice place?" Nash asked Nixon.
"I was busy, so I told Nathan to do it," Nixon answered him.
"And I told Noah to find something," Nathan countered.
"But then I asked Nolan to do it," Noah added.
"What's wrong with the place? I think it has character," Nolan commented as we all looked at him like he had lost his mind.
"Dude, it's a freaking dump, just like your head," Nixon snapped.
"Oh, come on, when ma and Dad moved into their house, it wasn't the best, but they fixed it up," he reasoned.
"Because they had help and were planning on living there the rest of their lives, you tool," Nixon yelled at them.
As they bickered, I walked in and set a box down, looking around. It wasn't a terrible house. It just needed some work.
"Mags?" I heard Nash's voice.
I turned and looked at everyone as they stared at me curiously.
"I've got an idea," I mentioned as I looked at them. The brothers all looked at each other, then back at me.
"You want to fix this dump up?" Carson questioned us.
"Yep," I answered.
"Have you lost your mind?" Caleb asked me as everyone looked at him.
"Nope, just my memory," I grinned.
"Nope, I'm sure you lost your mind," Cody added.
"Okay," I shrugged as they all smirked, then I pulled out my phone and dialed a number.
"Wait, who are you calling?" Carson asked me, curiously.
"Why do you care? Now hush." I waved him off as the line connected. "Hey, it's me. Yeah, we got here, but there seems to be a slight issue. Well, the boys passed the buck, and now we are moving into a rundown house. Yep, I'm sure. You will! That's great! I will tell them! Okay, see you soon." I smiled as I hung up the phone.
"Maggie, who did you just call?" Jace asked me as I smiled.
"I called someone that I know would see things the way I see them," I shrugged.
"Who?" They all asked.
I looked at all of them, giving them an innocent smile.
A few hours later, there was a knock at the door, then the door fell inward, onto the floor. There stood Grayson, Nate, Jonas, and Cayson as Nate held his hand up from knocking.
