After the cruise, it headed us towards finishing up school and finally graduating. They set everything back home, with minor last-minute details. We would attend when we came home.
On a bright note, my cast came off in time for finals. Good thing too because I'm sure Lucille and Pat would have hurt Nash for causing me to break my wrist. Oh, I wasn't sure; I know they would have hurt him.
We also had the matter of everyone facing the music when they got home with the marriages and pregnancies. It was weird to know, the devil twins themselves would-be fathers.
I wonder how Nash would be as a father. I snapped out of it as I finished up my last final. I got up and made my way to the professor, handing him my paper, and with that, I walked out. I was officially a pastry chef.
I walked out to see Nash standing there. I walked over to him.
"So, are we good?" He asked me with a smile.
I looked at him and smiled. "We're good."
He grabbed ahold of me and swung me around. Today marked the day when we finally finished school permanently. I was so relieved. I also wasn't the only one, as each boy and girl took their last final, the ones that were graduating were ecstatic. The ones that had to remain, not so much.
At least the demon spawn had good company with Nolan still here; God helps the school. Let's hope they don't burn it down.
The day we all finally waited for arrived, graduation. It was also the day where we were rushing around enjoy raging lunatics.
"Has anyone seen my shoe?" Noah asked while searching for his shoe.
"It's probably with the other one," Nathan yelled.
"Or it's in your hand, you twit," Nixon said, pointing to the shoe Noah was holding.
"Oh right," he said as he put his shoe on as he hopped down the hallway.
"Boys and girls! Get a move on, or we will be late," Nate yelled.
"We're coming! Do you have any idea how hard it is to get ready when your old lady is puking in the bathroom?" Nathan yelled at him.
"Price to pay for poking holes in your raincoat, son!" Nate yelled back to him.
"Yeah, well, I will still kill Nathan," Noah yelled.
"And therefore you don't borrow from your brother," Nate yelled back.
"Your mother wears combat boots," Nathan yelled at Noah.
"Good job, you tool! You just made fun of your mother," Noah yelled back.
"Oh, right, good point! Sorry, ma!" Nathan yelled at Pat.
"Nathaniel Mark Gray Jr, I do not, nor have I ever worn combat boots," Pat yelled to him.
"Nashville Nathaniel! Nixon Richard! Nathaniel Mark! Noah Grayson! Nolan Daniel! Margaret Elaine, Katerina, Macey, Marcy, and Brook, we need to go!"
That was our cue as the eight of us walked downstairs in our cap and gowns while Nolan and Brook followed behind us.
As we reached the main room, Nate and Pat looked at us. They started to remember when we were little and all the craziness that ensued over the years when we got older and became teens. How I came to live with them and my friends became more of a staple at their house. Now two of them married and expecting, while another was getting ready to get married, followed by a fourth.
Nate wiped a tear from his eyes, "It's funny, I figured I would be ecstatic about this day, knowing my boys would be finally out of the house, but I'm not."
We all looked at him, surprised.
"For twenty-five years, you boys have brought your mother and me, a lot of craziness but also a lot of happy memories. Now look at all of you, grown men, getting ready to go out on your own. I could not be more proud than I am," his voice cracked.
"What your softy father is trying to say, you boys have made us so proud through the years, and now we are getting daughters out of it," Pat smiled.
The boys grabbed our hands and gave each of us girls a kiss on the side of the head.
"Come on, let's get you eight graduated," Nate mentioned to us. We all smiled, and as we headed out.
Jonas and Karen came to see Jace and Jaime graduated. Cayson and Dominique came after they got done yelling at Carson and Caleb. Grayson and Lucille stayed behind to deal with wedding preparations.
As each of us got called up to get our degrees, the Grays naturally cheered. I think they were just relieved; None of us were in jail, and we survived college.
I saw Frazier and his group get their degrees. The weird part I'm going to kind of miss is his crazy antics. Eh, that's okay, the Gray brothers do enough insane stuff for the many Frazier's in the world.
After graduation, we all packed up and loaded up the cars to head home. Nolan and Brook were returning next year and sharing a house with the demon spawn. Good luck, Nolan, you will need it.
Paul had got a job offer out west, Marco and Jasper were coming back with us. Jasper would intern at the local hospital. Marco wanted to be closer to me. I couldn't blame him since I was fabulous.
I wouldn't have changed anything these past four years. Yes, they were crazy, but we survived. Now onto to get ready for the wedding. Why do I have a feeling things will get crazier?
