With everything that happened, Cody steered clear of everyone. Becca decided she wanted to get even except one person would stop her, don't ask.

The group of us were at the house, hanging out when we heard a knock on the door. Then it became deadly quiet. We all looked at each other as another knock sounded.

"Why is no one answering the door?" Meg asked as she walked over to it. We knew she didn't, good luck, Meg.

She opened it up. "Can I help you?"

"No, but I can help all of you," they answered.

They walked in, and it was none other than Grammy Gray.

"Now, where is Cody and this girl of his? I want a word with them," she told us.

We all looked at them. That was never good when Grammy wanted a word with you.

We waited while Carson and Caleb went to retrieve their brother and Becca. She sized up, Gema, Meg, and Bri.

"So, you girls are my grandson's girls?"

"Yes, ma'am," they all answered.

She walked over to Bri, "Hmmm," then to Gema, "uh-huh," and finally at Meg, "huh."

The girls and I stood there while she crossed her arms and tapped her foot. Grammy already put Brook through the drill. We all had to endure her.

"So, what are your intentions with my grandsons?"

"Well, I plan on beating him into submission," Meg told her.

She cocked an eyebrow at her. "Interesting, and you?" She looked at Gema.

"Well, as long as he stays in line, he won't have to worry about me chopping off his balls," she grinned.

"I see, and you?" She looked at Bri.

"I figure a good right hook should do the trick," she mentioned while balling up her right hand into a fist.

Grammy looked at them and smiled. "Good to know, you will take care of them."

We tried not to laugh. Hold your own with the Gray boys.

A few minutes later, Carson and Caleb returned with Cody and Becca.

Cody saw her and said, "Nope," as he tried to leave.

"Cody Mitchell Gray! Don't you dare walk out of this house," she ordered him as he stopped and silently cursed to himself. "Now, bring your stupid ass, and you're equally stupid ass girlfriend over here before I drag you both over here."

They walked over to her, as Becca said, "And who do you think you are?"

No, Becca, you just signed your death warrant.

"Well, it was nice knowing her, not really," Nixon retorted.

"Who will call the funeral director?" Noah asked them.

"I will," Nathan added.

"I'll order the flowers," Nolan offered.

"Let's pick her out a nice casket," Jace whispered to Nash, who nodded.

"Excuse me, hah uh, you don't get to speak. You get to be quiet and listen to me," Grammy informed her. She opened her mouth and promptly shut it. "I don't know who the hell you think you are to be causing the trouble you have, but let me tell you, that isn't happening, sweet-cheeks. You tried and made a play for Nashville, which was the wrong move. Any of these other idiots, be my guest."
