For spring break, we all went on a sea cruise. Plus, this was our last hurrah with everyone before school ended, and Nash and I had our wedding. For our honeymoon, he had something special planned for us.
I just wanted to relax. Since I had a cast, it limited me to what I could do. Kat hung with me along with Nash and Nixon. Nash still felt guilty, good.
We got settled into our rooms and met up with everyone on deck, but Andi and Macey were leaning over the railing heaving.
"Are they going to be okay?" I asked Jace and Nathan.
"Yeah, let's give them a few minutes," Jace said.
"Shouldn't you be taking care of them? Some husbands you both are," Nixon huffed.
They looked at each other then walked over to their wives. I had to agree with Nixon on this one. They could at least make sure they were okay.
"So, what's on the agenda?" Nolan asked us.
"Doing our own thing and eventually meet up for dinner," Nash replied.
"Cool, Later," Nolan said as he and Brook walked away.
"You know we will never see them the rest of the trip, right?" Noah asked us.
"As long as he isn't getting me arrested, I'm good." Nixon shrugged.
Everyone else had split up and did their own thing while Nathan and Jace took care of their wives. I found a lounger and sat down along with Kat. A deckhand brought over fruity drinks to us, and we gladly took them.
Nash and Nixon walked off, checking out the boat.
"So, how do you feel about Nixon being a minister?" I asked her.
"You know, as weird as it sounds, I kind of like him being one. I mean, at least he will keep people entertain," she giggled.
I couldn't help but laugh.
As we talked, Nash and Nixon finally made their way back to us.
"Ladies, well, at least one of you are," Nixon said to me with a smirked. I rolled my eyes at him.
They sat down, joining us before we knew it Caleb and Gema came running towards us.
"Nixon," Caleb said as they came closer.
"Caleb, Nash, Kat, Maggie, now that we are all acquainted," Nixon replied.
"Come on, Nixon, we need your help," Caleb pleaded with him.
"Oh fine, what do you need?" he asked, annoyed.
"We need you to marry us," Caleb answered anxiously.
Gema nodded feverishly, grinning.
"And pray, tell, do I ask why?" Nixon gave him a sideways glance while the rest of us looked at each other.
"Well, um, you see......." Caleb rubbed the back of his neck with his palm.
We all looked at them, knowing the reason.
"Oh, you got to be kidding me." He stood up. "Is Carson the smarter one out of you three? That's not saying much, considering he's not that bright as it is."
"Come on, Nix," he whined. "My parents will kill me if they find out."
"They will kill you no matter what. Then there's Grammy who will still hurt Nathan and Carson, then there's you," Nixon reminded him.
"Look, all we are asking is for you to marry us. Marrying on a ship is legal," Caleb reasoned.
"Fine, round up the troops. We got a wedding to perform," Nixon announced.
