Kat was pacing back and forth as I sat on the bed, then turned to me. "You have got to be kidding me!" She exclaimed.

I looked at Kat, not saying anything. I mean, what was there to say?

"Maggie, you only had one thing to do, and that was to get your wedding dress. We all got ours," she said incredulously.

"Sorry, it's been a crazy year," I replied defensively.

"Does anyone else know?" She questioned me.

"Well, no," I said sheepishly.

Kat sighed. "The wedding is tomorrow, Maggie." She walked over and sat down on the side of my bed next to me.

"Maybe we can go to a store and buy one," I spoke optimistically.

"But what about alterations? Then you have to make sure it's ready. People take months making sure their wedding gown is right. Everyone except you," she said to me with an annoyed look.

I sat there and mumbled, "I am so dead."

"Yep, you are. Good luck with Grammy Gray," she reminded me.

I fell back onto the bed and sighed, yep, good luck to me.

"I knew it. I knew Mags never got her dress," Nash whispered to Nate as they listened at the door.

"Sounds like your mom," Nate chuckled.

"Huh?" He looked at him questionably.

"Your mom forgot to get her dress until two days before our wedding. So, she left graduation with your Aunt Liz and went to get it, thanks to me," he grinned.

"Wait, you bought ma her dress?" He asked him.

"Yep, I talked to this lady that owned a shop, and she had it is waiting for your ma along with a note from me attached to the box," he explained to him.

"Well, that's great, and all but Grammy will kill her," Nash retorted.

"And that's why you, my son, must always think ahead," he told Nash with a knowing look.

Nash looked at him as he waved him to follow him. They walked into Nate's room, and Pat was waiting for them.

"What's going on?" Nash asked them.

Pat looked at Nate and said, "This seems familiar?"

"Yep," Nate agreed.

She smiled and walked to the closet, pulling out a box. She carried it over and handed it to Nash.

"Here, give this to Maggie. Tell her she owes me, grandchildren," she smiled.

Nash gave her a look and took the box from her. He left the bedroom and made his way to my room; then, he knocked on the door.

I opened the door. "Nash?"

"Here, ma says you owe her grandkids," he answered while holding out a white box to me, and I took it from him. Then he turned and walked away. I closed my door and walked over to the bed. Kat watched as I opened the box to reveal a wedding gown.

We looked at each other. Why did I have a feeling Pat and Nate had been through this before?

That night, Nash stayed with Noah, as did the rest of the boys. They got ready together since all of them were standing up. The girls stayed with me, so they could help me get ready in the morning. I had a feeling I would need it.

I lay in bed, playing with my ring. It was weird. Never would I imagine that tomorrow I would walk down the aisle to Nash. We were just two neighbors that grew up next door to each other.
