A day of relaxation rolled around, without Kovu's lessons around the pride lands, of Kiara's lecture about history. Kovu, Kiara, and Kiara's parents had stayed close. The sun was only starting to set painfully slowly. Kovu and Kiara would just make deep eye contact with each other's reflections in the water and smile. An odd practice, sure, but still showing one another's love.
The king and queen whispered to each other until finally turning around. "So," Simba started, snapping them back into reality. "This has never, once happened in Pride Rock history, and I know you two are awfully young.. But how do you feel about.. Tying the knot?" He proposed, they laughed and leapt in the air.
"So is that a yes?" Nala joked. They settled back down nuzzling. "Let's go." Simba lead them all to the top of the pride, announcing their wedding.
