Lola, Jamal,Mike and Lara's grandparents greeted the Newly weds.
It was a small wedding with just their immediate family. Shola insisted on having a court Marriage .
Lara was putting on a simple yet elegant gown that Lola designed for her as a wedding gift. Lola is a fashion designer.
“Shola please take care of our daughter ” Grandpa said. He understood little English.
“I will Sir. Lara is special to me and I won't do anything to hurt her ”.
“ omo mi tell care of yourself. God almighty go giv una ur own children boys and girls ”Grandma prayed for them crying .joining Lara who was already crying.
“don't worry Sir, Ma she's in good hands ”Lola told them
“ose my dear.. Ur own too go soon cum ” Grandma said to Lola
“Amen Ma.. Thank you ”Lola said with her eyes on Jamal.
“we ll be going now Sir ”Shola was holding Lara whose tears can't seem to stop.

“Lara take care ” Mike was talking for the first time. He still wasn't happy about Lara marriage with Shola.
Lara hugged Mike and her grandparents. She,Shola and the rests took their leave.

“Godd am so so tired "Lola and the couples entered the Villa “I could use a massage ”she said rubbing her shoulder.
“I can give you one if you want ” Jamal was teasing her.
“when do you ever stop Jamal ” Lola yelled throwing her hands in the air playfully.
“never ”Jamal winked at her.
“they are here ”Shola's Dad came into sight with Shade's hand hanging in his.
“Dad meet Omolara Cooker my wife ” Shola said his eyes on Shade who was glaring daggers at Lara.
“nice to meet you again Lara..welcome to the family dear ”Mr Cooker smiled at her “how do you do? ”
“fine ”
“I hope Shola has being treating you well because he can be a handful at times”
“yes”was all Lara could say.
“OMG.. Shola can your so call wife be dumb than this... She keeps answering every question in monosyllables ” Shade said looking at Lara from head to toe in disgust and jealousy.
“must you always be a bitch Shade? ” Lola stood up for Lara
“Lola watch the way you speak to Shade..she's like your Mom ”Mr Cooker scolded Lola.
“Dad why do you keep saying that.. Shade is nothing like my Mom.. Jeez ”
“don't talk to me that way.. Young lady ”
“whatever... I'm going to pack my stuff ”
“where are you going to? ”Shola asked
“Sorry Bro I forgot to inform you.. I have to be in New York by tomorrow for the Fashion Week ”Lola said “my flight is at 10pm and this is just 6pm I still have about two hours to pack and bond with Lara before I leave for the airport ”
