A month had passed since I admitted to Shola that he was my children's father. Since then i always allow him hangout with the kids. Most times he comes over to the house while other times they go over to play at Lola and Jamal place. Throughout those times Lekan and Nikki had no idea Shola was their father though Shola always wanted to tell them but I insisted I do it at a later time.
Shola and I didn't become friends. Let's just say i tolerated him because of my children. We only saw whenever he comes to take the kids out.
Gold's party was the next day and my kids were going to attend. Lola insisted I come along since we were trying to build a new friendship. Mike was happy I was trying to move on. Was I? well I didn't hate Shola as much as I did before but I surely wasn't done with Shade.
Mide and Dara came to see me. They wanted us to hangout. We went to Kola's girlfriend Spa called House of Kesha. On getting there I sighted Shade with some other ladies. Dara and Mide already knew my connection with the Cookers and it was no surprise that they also despised Shade though they try to act civil when around each other. Shade and her friends were obviously done and were leaving. When we got closer she stopped in front of me staring with at me anger. I stood smirking at her happy that I got that reaction from her. She clearly hadn't gotten over what happened to her at the Anniversary.
"Can you move so others can walk in."Mide said. Shade gave a bitchy smile and said "I haven't forgotten how you embarrassed me that night. I will deal with you in this Lagos. Tiwalola Animashaun " Shade barked out.
"Well that makes two of us cos I haven't forgotten what you did to me all those years ago. What I did at the party was just a test of the iceberg. I'll make you a laughing stock infact I'll make you leave lagos for me. Isn't that what you always said to me " She looked confused for a minute before covering up with a frown. I smiled
"What are you talking about. I didn't bring trouble your way. You started this way first" The ladies beside her didn't say or do anything. They just stood watching obviously enjoying the drama so they would be able to spread the gist.
"Oh you sure started it seven years ago when you I married Shola your ex-lover. " she looked Shocked with her eyes wide." You thought you could trample on me but guess what I'm back to make your life hell. By the time I'm done with you, your minions" I pointed to the ladies with her. " would not want to be seen with you."
"Are you..Lara" she stutter abit
"You're dumber than I thought. Your fake lashes must have blinded you not to recognize this face" I pointed at my face. She recovered from her shock and looked at me with pure hatred.
" Lara Lara..the poor Lara whose man did you snatch to get your hands on his wealth " she laughed " Do you ladies know she used to be so poor and filthy " she told the ladies with her. The ladies whispered amongst themselves. For a moment I felt like Lara cos her words struck a nerve.
"Well guess what bitch.. Tiwa happens to be the surviving child of late chief Eniola Animashaun but I'm sure you don't know that cos while your mates were busy trying to make something out of their lives, you were busy getting married to your boyfriend's father. Slut" that was Dara speaking, I was surprised she stood up for me like that. Dara was always the quiet one. She wasn't done " Tiwa is the youngest richest CEO in Nigeria while you live off your old husband which might I add Tiwa is a hundred times richer. Instead of spitting out rubbish and acting like a bitch to people, you should get a life and maybe start selling roasted corn before your husband becomes super broke since we al1 know EFCC are still on his matter. You sad whore" Mide high five her twin. Laughing so hard. Shade felt embarrassed and decided to say what made me finally decided to ruin her.
