Tiwa's POV
As soon as I got home I was welcomed by butler who opened the door and my kids laughing and screaming.
"Mum you're back" they said and I hugged them.
"Victoria, take those files to my office." Victoria was hardworking and she makes me complain. I was thinking of offering her to come with me to Nigeria.
After hugging my kids I went up to my room to freshen up before dinner. As I showered and changed into something casual, I couldn't stop thinking about what Mike said . He is always trying to get me to stop my plan and just move on but I can't do that, I can't move on without bringing the Cookers to their knees .
I was still in thoughts when Lekan and Nikky ran into my room and started jumping on the bed.
“Mum Mum it's time for Dinner ” they started shouting together ,their British accent coming out well. They were given birth to here in the London and have being here all their lives hence they are already accustomed to everything here. The only thing that relates to Nigeria in their lives is their names and of course they know my Aunt Bisola and Chief who they refer as Grandma and Grandpa even though Aunt Bisola keeps telling them to call her Aunt B she claims to still be young.
Rrringg ringgg my phone rang and Aunt Bisola's name was displayed . I picked
"Hello Ma "
"Tiwa how are you and the kids?" She asked.
" we are fine" I said
"That's good to know, I was calling to inform about the anniversary that's coming up"
"About that auntie B, we are coming home "
"Are you sure you want right now. I mean we can handle the anniversary, you don't have to worry "
" No, its not that . It's time i come back " My Aunt is aware of my revenge against the Cookers.
" my dear, are you sure . I don't want to see hurt again" I understand my aunt she was there when I was going through my heartbreak
"Trust me on this. I am prepared to make them suffer for what they did to me "
"Mum who are you going to make suffer?" Oh shit ,I totally forgot my kids were there.
"Ohmm it's nothing baby " I was just praying they won't ask further.
"Put the phone on speaker let me speak to those cuties. " Aunt B said andi did so
"Hello my darlings"
"Hi auntie B " they chirped
" Auntie B we miss you when are you coming to visit?" They asked
" ooh my dear I miss you two so much. And I'm sure we will be seeing soon" I was happy Auntie B didn't tell them I wanted to tell them myself.
"Nikky , lekan listen we will be moving to Nigeria. " they started screaming on top of their voices,Jumping . They've always wanted to go to Nigeria which is opposite to how I feel if not for my revenge.
"Well my darlings, I will be expecting you . Tiwa I will have the house prepared for your arrival " she said.
"Thanks Auntie B"
"Tiwa how I throw a welcome party for you . People have been asking about you, I think it's time to introduce you officially to everyone " auntie B suggested.
"But auntie the anniversary is close why can't we introduce me there,besides this people must have heard of me" I wasn't really interested in the welcome party but I trust auntie B to convince me.
"Tiwa it doesn't mean. We can have both parties one to welcome you back and the anniversary party as planned besides we are lagosians ,any excuse to throw a party" she laughed
"Ok fine , I'll leave you to it"
"Alright Dear inform me about your flight schedule ok?"
"Ok .bye" I finally ended the call
"Momma are we really going to Nigeria?" Lekan asked
"Yes baby, alright it's time for dinner. Let's go " we went down for dinner.
Victoria was still around so I asked her
" Victoria how do you feel about relocating?" She had a confused look on so I went further.
" you know I'll be relocating to Nigeria and I will be needing a new PA so I'm offering you to go with me I'll be paying you double" i said but she was quiet
"You don't have to give me your answer now think about it. I'm used to you working for me and we make a great team however I ll respect your decision. Let's eat"
After dinner Victoria left, I had inform my house staffs to start parking our things. I took my children up to their rooms. I went to mine.
It been seven years yet the wound in my heart seems fresh. I tried but couldn't get pass all I went through in the hands of that bitch Shade and the way Shola used me. I swore to make them pay.
I tried forgetting about it all but how could I when everytime I see the twins I remember him and it makes me remember Shade. Mr Cooker was always supporting his stupid wife.
I won't lie I had good memories there also even though they were little. Good times with Safiiya,Mike and Lola Shola's sister .
I often wonder where Safiiya was and how she's faring, I already already asked Mike to find out her .I would be needing her for my plan.
My revenge was simply to make them as poor as a church rat. All that happened to me was because I was poor and they were rich. Yes they were because they won't be for long.
Shade hated me treated me that way because I was poor .
Shola's father always took his wife side and won't believe me because I was poor .
And that idiot took advantage of me, he used me just because I was poor and naive.
Their money was the reason they were arrogant, pompous and wicked so it'll be the cause of their downfall. I will make sure to kick them out of banana Island and they'll be forced to sleep under the bridge like I once did. I'll take away everything that makes them happy. That was my plan.
